"I...can't....believe you're actually asking me out on a date Lynch" I say, Ross gets nervous at my reaction. I smirk "of course I'll go with you" I say "really" Ross replies surprised "of course, I've never felt this way before" I respond shyly "me too" he replies bringing a small blush to my cheeks. "Be ready at six tomorrow night. Please?" he asks with pleading eyes "no problem" I reply pecking his cheek and walk away. I run to Rydel as fast as I can forgetting I have to use the bathroom and tell her about the date. "I'll help you get ready I'm so excited for you. #Rossily forever" she squeals"Rossily?" I question, furrowing my eyebrows "yeah Rossily it's like a ship name, your name and Ross's name mixed together" she responds "ohhh right" I reply thinking about the name.
Ross's pov
Emily said yes to going on a date with me, I can't wait. I have everything planned, I am taking her to the beach to surf and to a nice local dinner spot. There will be stunning lights and everything will be perfect. In this moment I am so glad we came on this tour and did this competition because without it I wouldn't have gotten the chance to meet Emily. I think I'm in love. What? No I can't be in love, I'll know when my time comes. My mind starts running with thoughts. Right then a hand snaps in my face "ergh are you okay Ross?" Riker asks worried "yeah. I'm fine. I'm just excited, I'm taking Emily on a date tomorrow night" I say happily. "No way bro. Congrats. Need any help?" Rik responds "you could help set up the beach? Like with the tent and lights we did that year for the bonfire" I reply as he nods remembering and walks out giving me a pat on the back. Emily walks into our dressing room, sits next to me and starts watching the stage screen where Jack and Jack, our opening act is playing, we should be on in about an hour. I find myself staring at her while she watches the screen. She is so beautiful.
Rydel's pov
I have to go get Ross, our show starts soon. I walk into our dressing room and see him and Em watching the live stage feed. "Ross. Showtime." I say as he kisses Emily on the cheek "eyes on the screen gorgeous" he says leaving, I follow directly behind him. We get in a circle and put our hands in. "Ahhh Ready.Set.Rock" we yell in unison. We sing most of our songs and say goodbye before taking a quick bow and walk off. Emily hugs us all, mentioning how good our show was. We decide to go grab some dinner since it is half past ten and we haven't eaten yet. We all agree on McDonald's on the way to the hotel.
Ross's pov
We get into the taxi to McDonald's, Rydel sits on the left side of the car, Em in the middle and I on her right. I grab Emily's hand and intertwine our fingers, she looks at me and smiles. After dinner we go back to the hotel rooms. Rydel and Em share their room. I share with Riker and Ryland while Rocky and Ratliff share. I want to message Emily so bad but don't want to come off as too clingy so I just lay down and try to get some rest. I receive a text message at about midnight. "I miss you" it reads from Emily. I get up and leave the hotel room, texting her back "open your door." Soon she opens the door and pulls me into the room. We lay down on her bed. I give her a quick kiss. "Goodnight princess" I say as she lays her head on my chest "goodnight Ross" she replies and soon we both fall asleep
