Meant To Be

Emily's pov

I wake up on the couch and realize someone is wrapped up around me. It can't be Ross as Riker and I are going to pick him up later today. I turn around hoping for Savannah. Boy am I wrong. Ryland. I jump up and run into the kitchen confused. I quickly eat a bowl of cereal and then grab my phone. I check the time and it is only 7am, I am just really excited. I go upstairs and take a shower, only applying natural makeup once out. I put on grey leggings and a grey sweatshirt along with cream colored ugg boots. I throw my hair into a messy bun and then walk into Ross and Ryland's room where I get Ross some clothes. I pull out grey sweatpants and his grey R5 sweatshirt. I go back downstairs and see Riker eating in the kitchen. "Hurry up Rik, we're going to go get Ross" I whine excited as he chuckles "relax em I'm going to go get ready, Alexa is coming over to hang with Sav while we're gone" he says. He heads upstairs and 20 minutes later comes back down with his phone and car keys. We get into his car and drive to the hospital.

I bounce into the hospital and excitedly run all the way to Ross's room with Riker chuckling behind me. I run in and he is awake and watching some tv. "Bubba" I yell excitedly "baby" he calls back as I give him a passionate kiss and Riker rolls his eyes. "How are you feeling?" I ask him as he shrugs "better than yesterday" he states and I nod. "Alright Mr Lynch you're ready to go home once you're changed, someone will need to help you most likely" the nurse calls out and Riker leaves to go sign discharge papers. I grab Ross's bag of clothes and help him up.

We walk into the bathroom. I pull the pants under Ross's gown and then take the gown off. His abs are perfect. I put his sweatshirt on him and we walk out "thanks Em" he says awkwardly scratching his neck "it's alright babe, you need help because you're in pain alright?" I ask as he nods. We wait 15 minutes for Riker to finish signing the papers and then we walk out and get in the car. "Hey Ross, mom and dad can't come back for a few days. Did they speak to you?" Riker asks as Ross nods. We drive back to the Lynch's. Riker has already organized Ross's car getting fixed up so he'll have it back soon. We walk inside and everybody carefully hugs Ross and I squeeze the life out of Alexa. I've missed her so much and I know it is awkward with Rocky here.

Ross's pov

Rydel and Ellington just got home from their little weekend vacation and they bombard me asking if I am okay. I really want to go and have a shower but I kind of need some help and it'll be awkward. "Guys I- uhm n-need to shower" I stutter as I slowly stand up "and I kind of need help" I awkwardly add on and hear a chorus of 'Emily can' as Emily gets up. "No baby making" Rocky calls out as Riker hits him and says Emily is just helping me.

She helps me get up the stairs and into her room. She grabs me a towel and a change of boxers and goes into her and Rydel's ensuite starting the shower. Once everything is ready she awkwardly unchanges me and says she'll be waiting outside until I'm done. It is awkward having her see me naked but I am in so much pain and I'm trying not to make it obvious. I finish showering and try to reach my towel which is folded on the small cabinet next to the vanity but it is too low and it hurts to bend down. "Uhm Em I can't reach my um towel" I call out. I hear the door handle and Emily walks in. She keeps her eyes on the floor to make me feel more comfortable. She grabs my towel and hands it to me as I wrap it around my torso. Once I finish drying Emily comes back in and helps me put my clothes on. We walk out of the bathroom as I thank her again and she gives me a kiss. I think we really are meant to be.

We walk downstairs where everyone is watching the suite life of Zac and Cody. I widen my eyes as I know what Emily is going to do. The theme song is about to start. I cover my ears with a grunt from the pain and everyone looks confused as to what I am doing. Rydel and Emily burst out singing and everybody immediately follows my actions and blocks their ears. After the song is over Rocky starts complaining. "You guys made me deaf I can't hear" "then you won't hear this. Fucking asshole" Alexa says as everyone but Rocky bursts out into laughter, a groan escaping my lips because of my ribs. Rydel walks over to Emily and pulls her upstairs to her room, Savannah and Alexa follow behind. Everyone looks at me and I shrug my shoulders. "She wants to talk about what happened in the shower" Ellington announces as I look at him confused. "Dude she seen you naked?" Riker asks curious as I blush embarrassed "oh bro you got a looker" Ellington yells as I laugh along with everyone else. "Wait have you two like not slept together" Rocky asks surprised. "No we haven't Rocky, we're waiting" I respond as he smirks. We all go upstairs to eavesdrop on the girls, each putting an ear to the door.

Emily's pov

Rydel dragged all of us girls up to her room and I am so confused as to why the other girls are smirking at me widely. "Spill" Rydel says as I raise my eyebrows. "Did you see him naked?" Alexa asks and I blush. "Y-yes" I stutter as the other girls giggle. "Is he big?" Rydel asks as I blush even more "eww Rydel I'm not talking about your brother like that to you" I reply grossed out. "Then talk like that to me, is he big?" Savannah asks as I look around "yes he is" I awkwardly say "very" I add on hearing a chorus of laughs. I hear males laughing too, Rydel tells us to be quiet and stands up. She opens her door quietly and the boys stumble in falling over, Ross groans in pain as he hits the ground. They all stand up and Ross and I awkwardly blush as everyone looks at us."So uhm- back to that movie" Ross says as I quickly nod and Ross and I run downstairs only causing the others to burst out into awkward laughter. We all go and sit down, putting on a random movie. Ross pulls me up and into his bedroom. This is going to be awkward....

Ross's pov

I'm not mad at Emily, I am actually pretty complimented but having the others hear was embarrassing. I pulled her into my room to talk about school which I was on the phone to my parents about in the hospital last night. "So Em, I just want to talk about school" I say as Emily sighs relieved and nods. "I was on the phone to my parents last night and I told them about your job and they want to know if you'll go to school, however they will pay and we can have senior year together" I announce as she looks at me excited. "Oh, I've only been able to have a tutor for the past couple of years but could never go to school, are you sure it'll be okay?" She asks kindly as I nod. "It'll be fine, they want an education for us and what better way then having one together" I reply as Emily gets really excited "thank you so much" Emily responds pulling me in for a kiss. I trail kisses along her neck and she moans. I break the kiss for a second as I pull her sweatshirt off leaving her in her bra and sweatpants. She hesitantly puts her arms in front of her. "It's okay you're gorgeous" I compliment as she calms down and begins kissing me again. I pull at the seam of her sweatpants but she moves back."I can't, not yet" she says as I nod in agreement and she puts one of my shirts on. We keep kissing until it is time to go to bed and then we fall asleep in each other's arms. We are meant to be.
