on the road again

Emily's pov

I woke up to someone lightly shaking me. I slowly opened my eyes and checked the alarm clock 4:00am?? What? I adjusted my eyes and there stood Stormie "sorry honey we have to leave soon, so you need to get up, could you please wake Ross?" She asked kindly as I nodded and she left.

I quickly shook Ross which didn't wake him up. I ran to the bathroom and once again threw up. I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant and have had the worst morning sickness in the last week. I heard Ross stumbled out of bed and come up behind me whispering soothing things in my ear whilst rubbing my back. He's been a big help everyday since he found out by getting up every morning when I'm sick despite me telling him I was okay. I stood up and brushed my teeth and then gave him a kiss.

Ross also helped me pack my bag the other day, I didn't really need help but he insisted anyway. He went to his room to grab clothes and came back. We both unchanged and I got into dark grey sweatpants and a black sweatshirt along with my patterned slippers.Ross wore light grey sweatpants and a black stussy sweatshirt along with plain black slippers. Typical airplane clothes apparently.

Ross sat me down and grabbed a hair tie as he tied my hair back into a messy bun which actually didn't look bad. I turned around and smiled at him.

"Babe please stop you make me feel like I can't do anything" I whined as he smiled and replied "bub I'm helping you, you need to rest" he replied as I sighed and kissed him. We got into the big van that had the seats that face eachother. I sat on one side next to Ross, Alexa and Rocky, with Rydel, Ellington and Ryland across from us and mark and Stormie in the front. Riker and Savannah took their own car to have alone time together and Alexa came so she can head home with Savannah.

"Alright guys so Emily is coming on tour with us now and that means that she's not coming to visit half way like we planned with so instead we will bring Savannah and suprise Riker" Rydel let out as they high fived and nodded. I sat there with my head back. Why are we talking at 4:45 in the morning?

We kept driving until we reached the airport, Ross had fallen asleep, I slowly shook him awake. Riker and Savannah arrived shortly after. We have to check in soon, about 15 minutes. We all began saying our goodbyes to Savannah and Alexa. "Hey look after my little niece or nephew in there" Savannah said pointing at Ross and he nodded "of course" he said. Once we walked away we took one last glance before leaving. I had a little baby bump but I attempted to hide it with my baggy sweatshirt. We hadn't made any announcements yet as we had just reached the recommended announcement time last week.

Ross's pov

We had just finished checking in, we had about an hour before our plane is to start boarding so we went to Starbucks to wait. "Ross I want coffee" Emily whined "babe you know it's bad for the baby, cmon I'll order you a hot chocolate?" I asked as her eyes lit up and she nodded. After we had all finished our drinks we put our rubbish in the bin and then the plane was called to start boarding. As we were lining up for boarding I noticed Rydel stand in front of Emily. "What are you doing?" I questioned her confused as she slyly pointed to a group of paparazzi capturing pictures from the corner and I nodded understanding.

We all slowly made our way through the line and onto the plane. Ellington and Rydel were together, Rocky and Riker, mom, Ryland and dad and Emily and I.
We sat down and waited about half an hour until the plane was getting ready to take off. Emily buckled her seat belt and squeezed my hand. We soon took off and were in the air. I suggested Emily and I watch a movie. She thought for a second and nodded. After looking through the screen for 5 minutes she chose 'Pearl Harbor'. She knew it was my favourite. I smiled at her.

We plugged in our headphones and watched the movie while she layed on my shoulder. It was up to the part where Denny and Rafe were leaving to go bomb Japan a few months after their attack on Pearl Harbor. Emily stood up quickly, jumping over me and running to the bathroom. I trailed her quickly and she threw up. About 2 minutes later we walked back out and continued the movie in the same position. We will be in Europe in about 9 hours considering we've been in the air for three hours. It was the end of the movie and I looked over at Emily who was crying because Denny just died after he found out he was going to be a dad. I pulled her into my shoulder and gave her a kiss on her forehead wiping her tears as she smiled. Soon we both fell asleep, occasionally jolting awake due to turbulence. We landed in Europe at 9:33am European time.
