Harry's POV
"Hey babe," I smiled as I walked over to Anna who was sitting in front of the lap looking at it intensely, "what are you doing?"
"Oh, just my biology work for the day!" she smiled up at me. It is the first week of June and her exams are coming up which she has to fly back to England to write.
"Cool! Anatomy?"
"Yeah! All the internal systems!" she smiled up at me. Her smile is cute yet beautiful all at the same time.
"Can you teach some biology?" I winked.
"I'm not sure if you are being perverted or seriously want to learn!" she laughed.
"How does it work when sing?" I asked sitting down beside her
"Well you larynx, it is your voice box, or commonly known as your vocal chords!" she explained, "It produces the sound you make."
"So why does my voice sometimes hurt after concerts?" I asked.
"Well if use it too it rubs together and causes you pain. It is just from using for a long period of time!"
"But what about morning voice?"
"Well that is the opposite. It is from not using your voice for a while."
"That's really cool!"
"Isn't it?" She smiled, typing an answer to a question.
"You really love this stuff?" I leaned in looking at her smile at her work as she saved it an e-mailed it to the teacher.
"I do. It is just so interesting! How we move and what is going on inside us and how to help fix problems!"
"Is that why you want to be a nurse?"
She nodded, "Yeah, my mom was a custodian in a hospital so she always talked to the nurses and brought home so many stories! My mom wanted to be a nurse so bad but she stayed home with me, when I was finally old enough my dad died and we couldn't afford food, let alone college."
She looked sad and I could tell she was blaming herself, "Anna, that isn't your fault!"
"But she stayed home for me! I stopped her from living her dream!" she said as tears started to well up in her eyes but she wouldn't let them fall.
"She stayed home because she loved you. She cares more about you!"
"If she cared about me she wouldn't have let me go around the world without even thinking about it. I mean I love being here and I wouldn't trade it for anything but I just wish she put up more of a fight."
"Anna, your mom knew this was what was best for you. She knew that this would make you happy." I smiled.
"I guess so." she said still holding back tears.
"You know you can cry in front of me?"
She shook her head, "I can't cry in front of anyone. If they see you crying they see your weakness."
I tilted her head away from looking at the floor so she could look into my eyes, her brown eyes glazed over with tears. "Arianna King, crying doesn't make you weak, it shows how strong you are." I smiled. She squeezed her eyes shut and let the tears fall, burying her head in my chest and she wrapped her arms around my waste. "Shhh, baby girl, it's ok!" I comforted her as she cried.
When she was done she looked up at me. "I'm sorry."
"No, I'm glad you did." I smiled, wiping the tears from her cheeks. "I love you." I whispered.
