"I would go to the basement if I were you." Harry smiled at my.
I raised my eyebrows but walked towards the door anyways.
When I got downstairs I could hear Emily talking.
Emily is our one and only child, born five years ago with my blonde hair and Harry's curls and green eyes.
I walked downstairs to see her smiling in the corner, talking to someone. My heart pounded before I noticed the pale glow around the person. He is a ghost.
"Hi mommy." Emily smiles, seeing me standing in the door.
The man smiles at me, his brown hair and eyes looked oddly familiar.
"Who is your friend Em?" I asked, walking over to her and sitting across from the man.
"Mommy this is uncle Sam!" she smiled brightly.
I frowned, "Sweaty you don't have an uncle, I don't have a brother remember?"
Emily laughs. "No silly! He isn't my uncle, he is yours!"
My eyes widened. "Um, Emily, could you go help daddy make dinner?"
"Sure mommy!" she said, standing up and waving "Bye uncle Sammy!"
"She is beautiful." he smiled as she skipped up the stairs. "They grow up fast."
"Ok, listen here, I don't know who you are but stay away from my daughter!"
"My dear, I am your uncle."
"I don't have any uncles." I glared.
"Really? You don't remember, I guess that makes sense seeing as it was about ten years ago."
"What are you talking about."
"What did Paul tell you?"
"Oh my God!" I gasped. "But you were three days old when you died."
"This is what I would have looked like if I was twenty." he smiled.
"Why haven't you crossed over?" I asked.
"I had to see him defeated."
"Well he was, ten years ago."
He smiled, "But you, Anna my dear, I had to see you grow up. Your mother did a wonderful job with you."
"Sam?"
"Yes?"
"How is she?"
"She is fine, I saw her before she crossed over. She is at peace."
I smiled, looking up, "I hope so."
"Anna what you did, with Paul, it saved everything." he smiled.
"Thank you." I smiled. "So will you be here for a while or-?"
"No, I have to cross over eventually." he smiled, "50 years as a ghost really isn't as fun as it sounds." he winked.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled.
"For what?"
"I never knew you. I feel like we would have been close."
"My dear, we can still be close, just remember me. Your mother, your dad, your grandmother, me, we will always be here." he smiled, pointing to my heart.
"Tell them I miss them." I said, tears falling down my face.
"I will. They miss you too."
"Thank you uncle Sammy."
"Your welcome Arianna. See you on the other side." he smiled as he faded away.
I sat down, my face in my hands.
I don't know how long I sat there until I heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
"Anna?"
I turned around to see Harry there. "Hi."
"Emily said you were talking to uncle Sammy." he stated. "Were you?"
I smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I was."
Harry smiled, sitting beside me. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, at least I will be." I said, getting up and taking his hand, pulling him with me. "Now let's go tell our daughter she is weird!" I laughed.
"You aren't weird. You're special." he said, pressing his lips to mine.
