Anna's POV
"Anna!" I barley heard the person yell over the sound of the rain falling around me. "Anna! Get inside before you catch a cold." I ignored Cass and just sat down in the middle of the parking lot. "Anna you are going to get hit by a god damn car!" Cass yelled. But she is a ghost. There is nothing she can do to make me move.
"It's my fault." I yelled starring at Cass who was crouched in front of me. "All my fault!" I cried.
"Anna, this isn't your fault-"
"YOU TOLD ME!" I screamed, not caring who heard, "You told me to tell him and I didn't and this happened!" I cried, I couldn't even tell what is tears and what is rain now.
"Anna, listen to me-"
Cass was cut off by the blinding light of car headlights heading straight for me.
Harry's POV
I walked into my flat and collapsed on the sofa, still trying to process everything. My girlfriend can talk to ghosts, well exgirlfriend, I just broke up with her, leaving her alone in a parking lot, and now I'm sitting here, alone.
All my thoughts are jumbled in my brain and I just don't know what to think. I stood up to make popcorn and went to my room to read. Reading always clears my mind. That is one of the things I love about Anna. She is one of those girls you find up at 2am reading because she just can't put the book down. I shook my head, trying to get her out of my mind.
I walked into my room to find my book but saw a letter on my bed. I frowned and walked over. I swear if one of the fangirls have found a way into my flat I'm going to be pissed.
I opened the letter to see an unfamiliar handwriting.
Dear Harry,
I don't know if Anna has told you , based on your reaction at the flat, I would say she has not, but yes, she can speak to ghosts. I know I was shocked after Anna's mom told me about her gift.
I know this may be a lot to take in and Anna has never been one to share her feelings with others. For the fourteen years that I had the pleasure of being Anna's father I know she is a very special girl. Anna has never been the kind of person to make friends easily.
She has also never been the girl who believed in love. She knew it happened but never thought it would happen to her. But you helped her to see that love does exist and she deserves as much love as humanly possible. You love her, and for that I thank you.
You are probably angry right now that she didn't tell you about her abilities. She wanted to, I know she did but she didn't know how to say it. She never wanted to loose you, you are her everything.
Harry, I know you have never met or seen me but please, treat my little girl right. She deserves so much love and I wasn't there to give it to her. She is a very special girl, don't loose hope.
Thank you so much for making my daughter happy.

I starred at the letter, reading it over and over again. I sighed, putting the letter down and grabbing my coat. I need to fix this. In my moment of frustration I lost the one girl I have ever loved.
I grabbed my keys and put on my jacket, walking out into the rain. I drove the five minutes to Anna's house to see red and blue flashing as I pulled into the parking lot. The rain has lightened up and now a light drizzle fell.
An ambulance was right in front of the building, paramedics were around a small body. "She is still alive." The driver of the car was standing with the police, crying about how she was sitting in the middle of the parking lot and she didn't see her in the rain.
I walked carefully over to see the body chanting please don't be Anna, please don't be Anna over and over again in my head.
"NO!" I screamed when I got close enough to see her body. Her arms and legs were at odd angles, her hair wet and tangled, all over her face, her brown eyes closed to the world. "ANNA!" I yelled running over to her.
"Woah there son." someone took my arm, I turned around to see a paramedic standing there.
"Let me go! I have to see my girlfriend!" I screamed.
"You can come in the ambulance." he said, leading me past another ambulance, treating the driver with shock and a few cuts and bruises.
I stepped up into the vehicle to see Anna on a stretcher. I held her hand as tears ran down my face. They stabilized her condition but she will have to go into surgery for broken bones and internal bleeding.
When we got to the hospital they rushed Anna into surgery and I went to the waiting room. I pulled out my phone and called Louis.
"Hey man!" he sounded cheerful.
"Are you with the guys?"
"Li and I are playing COD, I think Niall is at the studio and Zayn is at home. What's up?" I couldn't breath, I just stayed silent for a minute. "Harry?" Louis said, his voice laced with concern.
"Anna. Hospital." was all I could get out.
"We are on our way." I didn't even say goodbye. I just hung up the phone and waited. Waited for Anna, the boys, the doctor, anyone.
An hour later the boys came and sat with me, waiting for the surgeon to come out.
Three hours later, with Niall sleeping on Louis' shoulder and Zayn calling Mrs. King the surgeon came out.
"How is she?" I jumped up.
"Stable. She has a broken leg, two broken arms, four broken ribs and a sever concussion. We fixed the internal bleeding but she was really hurt. She is in a coma right now." he said to us.
"When will she wake up?" I rushed.
"I'm not sure, could be minutes, days, months. I'm not really sure."
"But she will wake up right?" Liam asked.
"I cannot be certain." he said sadly. "I'm sorry."
"Can I see her?"
"Family only."
"I'm her boyfriend. Her mom is in Canada and her father is dead, we are the only family she has right now."
"One person at a time." he said walking away.
"Harry, you go!" Liam smiled at me. "She will be fine." I nodded and walked down the hall, looking for the room with her name on the door.
Arianna King was printed in bold letters just above the number 7. I took a deep breath and opened the door.
