Harry's POV
Anna was lying in her bed, wearing a light blue hospital robe, the white sheet coming up to her chest. She was completely still, her blonde hair ly on the pillow, tubes coming out of her nose and a heart monitor beating to her steady heart beat.
I walked over beside her bed and sat down in a chair, just looking at her. Her face was covered in black and blue bruises, her lips chapped and her eyes closed. Her hair was still slightly damp from the falling rain. Both her arms had white casts on them, as did one of her legs. She looked like she was sleeping.
"Hey Anna." I said quietly. "I don't know if you can hear but I need to say this anyways." I took her small, casted hand in mine, playing with her fingers. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I yelled at you, I'm sorry I broke up with you, I'm sorry I didn't hear you out, I'm sorry I left, I'm sorry I didn't understand. But I do now. I understand. You are special. Special to your mom, to the boys and to me. I don't know what I would do without you. I know you have your secrets, hell I have secrets. There is something I didn't tell you about when we met. I was bad, Anna, I was so bad. I started drugs and I just drank every damn night. I just didn't know what to do. The boys could see what was happening to me, that's why we went to that pool, we were on break for a few days and the guys knew that if they left me alone I would find some club and get hammered. But instead we found you. You know, that whole day kind of makes sense now," I laughed, "What I'm trying to say is, you think I saved you, but you are so wrong Anna, you saved me from myself." I was crying now, I wiped the tears off with my free hand and smiled down at the girl lying on the bed. "Anna, please don't leave me, you helped me see what love truly is. Before you I thought that it only happened in Nicholas Sparks books and cheesy chick flicks, but you showed me what it is to truly love. I knew I loved you when we first met, I don't know how, I just knew that I cared about you too much to let you go, and when I saw those guys hitting-" I couldn't even finished the sentence, images of Anna's broken and beaten body flashing in front of my eyes, "I just couldn't stand to see why someone would hurt such a beautiful girl like you. I made a promise to myself that day, I promised to never hurt you, and I broke that promise and I am so sorry! I never wanted this to happen Anna! I'm so sorry!" I said, not even bothering to wipe the waterfall of tears now pouring out of my eyes, "Arianna King I love you so much."
I looked at the door to see Louis standing there smiling at me. "How much did you hear?" I asked, looking back to Anna's lifeless body.
"All of it." he said as he took a chair and sat beside me. "It was beautiful."
"How are the boys?"
"Zayn is picking Mrs. King up at the airport in a few hours, Li went to get Dani and Niall went somewhere to get us food." he answered.
"Where is El?" I asked, Louis always told Eleanor everything, so I would assume she would know about Anna.
"She, um, she broke up with me." he said.
I finally tore my eyes away from Anna to see Louis' sad face. "What happened?"
"She was asked to model for this big company out in Paris."
"Well that is great!"
"She said she doesn't want a long distance relationship." he said looking down at his hands.
"Louis I'm sorry."
"It's ok, I know I loved her but I guess this is for the best. This is a great opportunity for her, and the fangirls will be happy I'm off the market now!" he laughed.
"Are you sure you are ok? You can talk to me Lou, You know you can."
"I know. I just- I just-" he stuttered as tears came to his eyes. "I just wish she wanted to at least try. I guess she doesn't love me as much as I thought she did."
