Omg, guys I'm soooo sorry! I know that I'm really late. I really planned to have update on Monday or Tuesday, but something happened.
My mom came to visit -I live with my grandparents incase you didn't know- I had no clue she was coming! She lives in a different state, so I was pretty excited. I didn't have anytime to write all week and I'm super sorry.
Anyways, here is Chapter Twenty-two, I hope you enjoy it!!
~Please excuse any and all mistakes.~

The next morning we started out again. We brought our bags with us deciding to check out of the motel, since we'd hopefully be heading home again that night. Raegan and Clara wanted to leave this town as soon as possible; I couldn't blame. As they gave me directions, and we got closer and closer, to the house, I could feel their anxiety rise.
They became antsy and fidgety, not able to stay still for longer than a minute. Clara told me to take a right, causing me to turn onto a long road that winded up the mountain.
"They live on a mountain?" I asked in disbelief. Both simply nodded their heads not giving me a verbal answer. I reached over and grabbed Raegan's hand, lacing our fingers I gave her hand a reassuring squeeze. She shot me a wobbly smile, and turned to look out the window.
We hadn't talked about last night yet. I figured she had enough on her plate today, the whole 'love' thing could wait.
At this point we were completely surrounded by trees'; not the flimsy palm trees that rule Southern California, but tree's of every kind. Oak, Maple, Adler, Chokecherry, Douglas fir, and thousands more. It was insane.
We drove for about 30 more minutes before Raegan pointed to a road, coming up on the left.
"There." She said quietly. I flicked on my blinker, and turned. The road was obviously constructed to look beautiful. I couldn't help, but gaze in awe as I drove. More large, gorgeous trees' lined the road, but they intertwined overhead, creating a canopy of sorts.
We had to drive for about another five minutes before, a wrought iron gate blocked me from driving any further. The metal laced together in complicated swirls creating an insanely beautiful pattern. To top it of large ferns were woven between the metal.
"Uhm, I know you said your parents were rich." I muttered. "But, I had no clue you meant this rich."
Raegan laughed a little, but it didn't reach her eyes. I pulled up to the gate, and Raegan leaned out the window, and pressed a few buttons onto a keypad, apparently putting in a code.
A few seconds later the gate opened electronically, creaking loudly. Raegan leaned back in her seat, a determined look on her face.
"Let's get this over with." She grumbled. I drove forward, pulling into an elegant courtyard. The driveway looked like it was made out of cobblestone. Cobblestone. I mean seriously. Even more impressive than the driveway, was the house.
It loomed intimidatingly, over everything.
One word came into mind when I saw it; castle.
It looked like small castle. I'm not even kidding. It had pointed towers, Victorian styled windows, large cobblestone columns, and they even had gargoyles on upper balcony.
I turned the car off, but didn't get out. I gazed at the home, my jaw slack.
"You grew up in a castle." I asked incredulously. Raegan rolled her eyes, and shoved my arm.
