I slam the car door by accident as I stumble out. "Amy," Logan groans. I shoot him an apologetic look before apologizing.

"Sorry," I say weakly. "I guess I don't know my own strength" I wink at him. He rolls his eyes as he puts his arm around my shoulders, bringing me closer to his body.

"Just don't do it again," he leans down and kisses my forehead. I look up at him and smile at him. My phone chirps and I look down.

Liz: I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU RIGHT NOW

Liz: UGH

"Someone is upset," Logan scoffs and I know he rolled his eyes. I locked my phone and ignored her messages. The last think I need is for her to start something. I have a feeling it is in regards to the fact that Dillon ditched her while he was supposed to be taking her to the movies. And if I reply Logan will want to know what happened. Things between us are relaxed. The drama of yesterday was washed away from last night's rain.

"What are you doing for Thanksgiving? It's this week" Logan asks. Shit I totally forgot about it. Liz invited Dillon over for dinner and Blake has something planned.

"Blake said that she has a surprise for us girls since I haven't had a proper thanksgiving," I half lied. We walk into the classroom and Mr. Sanders stands up from behind his desk and points at me.

"Amy! Perfect timing," he exclaims. I walk over to his desk and Logan walks towards his. I told Logan that I am not a huge fan of PDA in the classroom and so far he has been respectful of it. "I've recently as of this morning become the head track coach. I could use a runner like you and it would look good for your NYU application for them to see that you became an active participant in school sports." I have to admit he had me cornered. After my dream last night, I have given some thought to it and it would look good to show NYU that I am not messing around.

"When's the first practice?" I ask him. Mr. Sanders eyes grew as big as an owl's eyes.

"First thing when you get back from winter break. You do have time to start training. I personally can't help you but seeing that your boyfriend plays soccer he can help you. I'm not sure what event you would run but try outs will happen during the first week of practice." The speed at which he was talking, I could tell I just made his day.

"Perfect," I sweetly smiled at him. I would of course have to ask Blake to help me grab all this gear. Maybe I'll bring it up at Thanksgiving. She has been so busy lately with the case that she handling.

"Also you are doing your Huckleberry Finn assignment alone. Dillon switched out of this class into my later class," Mr. Sanders explains. I nod my head and walk back to my seat. I take out my phone and reread the messages Liz sent me.

Me: Sorry I thought that you wanted to go with Dillon

Liz: He walked out on our date. I accidentally mentioned you and he just got up and left

I rolled my eyes at this and quickly replied. The school bells rings sign long for us to get to class. I have five minutes to quickly hash it out with Liz.

Me: I know...he came by yesterday

Liz: and you didn't think to tell me because..?

Me: I fell asleep and woke up to you on top of me

Liz: you could've messaged me

Me: and told you what? You would've freaked out and after the day I had yesterday...I just wanted to sleep.
