Two weeks have gone by since my first day at PPHS. Because Liz and I came four weeks into the school year, the school decided that we had to do all the work that we missed; plus we have college applications that we are working on. Liz has caught up on her work with no problems but everytime that I start on mine, Logan magically appears.
Beep, beep, beep.
I slam my hand down on my alarm clock. Liz lets out a groan and rolls over. I sit up and stretch, letting out a loud yawn.
"Can you be quiet? Some people are trying to sleep," Liz snaps. I roll my eyes and walk towards our bathroom. The shower comes alive, instantly filling up the room with steam. I watch myself strip off my clothes. I have gained some weight since I have met Liz and I am still getting used to it. Before I was under fed and nothing at the home was very nutritious. I stepped into the shower and closed my eyes allowing the water to drip down my face.

Knock, knock, knock.
I rolled off my bed and made my way to my bedroom door. I slowly opened it up to see Dillon smiling.
"What are you doing here? I don't want to get in trouble." I still have bruises and cuts on my upper arms from Miss Grace's fingers gripped my arm and her nails burrowed into my exposed skin when she dragged me back to my room.
"I'm really sorry about that," he whispers as he looks down at his feet. There is a strict no boys inside the girls rooms and vice versa. Dillon had a bottle of gin that he stole, hiding in his room. He wanted to share it with me and I had nothing else to do that day. Miss Grace was supposed to be gone until late.
"Amy," he takes a step closer and reaches out, touching my upper arm. I flinch, inhaling sharply. I blink several times trying to not think of the pain that his touch brought. "What did she do?" The smile faded from his face and his tone was low.
"Nothing. I have homework that I have to complete and I can't be distracted." I slam the door on his face. The tears finally began to flow. Her words came back to my mind.
"You don't need to be hanging out with trash like Dillon, my sweet Amy. He is nothing but trouble and only wants you for his needs. He is nothing but trouble. Don't be fooled by his good looks and charming personality. Eva and Hilary told me all about how you two have dates on Sunday morning. Stay away from him otherwise you and I will have a little chat. Do you understand?" she snaps.
I pulled my legs up to my chest and began to sob. The one person who actually understood me and wanted to be my friend was actually just using me.

I shut the water off and wrap my pink towel around my body. A sigh escapes from my lips as I try to not think about my time with Dillon or at the home. Ever since I got a text from an unknown number my thoughts have been flooded with memories of my childhood. I start to wipe my body off and I hear Liz talking.
"Yeah she is taking a shower right now. Oh wait I think she is out. AMY" she yells. Thankfully it is just us two. Blake had to fly to California to finish up some paper work so that she can move her job temporarily to Portland.
"Logan is here," Liz says through the door. I slip my bathrobe on and tie it tight preparing myself to step out into the cold. I open the door and Liz rushes past me.
"Hey," I smile at Logan. He gets up from where he was sitting on my bed and walks over to me.
"Hey," he bends down and our lips meet. I pull back before a quick kiss turns into a quick make out.
