Chapter 19

-Matthew's P.O.V-

Lilly walked out and everyone was hollering at her telling her to come back but she just drove off, I walked out to my car and got in. "Now where're you going?" Taylor asked.

"To get her back" I said turning the key over. "Do you even know where she is?"

"Maybe" I said and pulled out I drove to where Lilly and Jillian's little hide out was I shut the car off and looked at the woods i got out and started to look around as i walked through the wood I came to a tree that had Jillian and Lilly's name carved into it I walked further and found an old tree house I climbed it half way to hear a soft cry.

I moved the blanket and walked in to see her with her knees bent and her head laying on them. I walked over to her and sat down beside her I wrapped my arms around her and she laid her head on me. "I'm still not marrying you Matthew" She said between sobs. I lifted her up so I could see her face.

"The hell your not, we've come this far your not backing down now" I said.

"I know and this is where it needs to end Matthew before i fuck up your life even more" She said moving my arms away. "I'm gonna miss the good times we've had but i can't just sit here and ruin your life more than what I already have" She said standing up, i was not about to let the girl i love slip away just like that it wasn't about to happen.

I stood up and grabbed her waist pulling her back to me. "You haven't ruined my life Lilly, and you are going to walk down that aisle and say 'i do' because i'm not letting you slip away just like that, you can stop trying all you want but that doesn't mean i'm going to." I said she shook her head at me.

"Matt you don't get it if i walk away now you wont have to fight the battle that i'm fighting you don't have to protect me during storms, you won't have to worry about if i'm okay or not, you can have a normal life with Lacy or someone else down the road" She said trying to move my hands from away from her waist.

"No Lilly i do get it it's you who doesn't get it, I want to fight the battle with you, i want to be the one who protects you during storms, i want to worry about you, i don't want a normal life Lilly because when i'm with you i love how your not normal, you don't wear pants to bed, you like helping people, your not normal your not plain like all my other EX's and that's what i like about you Lilly, you don't care what people think about you, and yes you get on my damn nerves but i still love you, you always ask questions, and i love your kisses, I love how your scared of the dark so you sleep as close to me as you can." I said not breaking our eye contact once.

"You say that but you don't mean it Matthew this isn't your battle right now i just need to figure some things out and i'm not gonna weigh you down with me" She said breaking the eye contact and looked down, she looked back at me and i smashed our lips together, we moved in sync not breaking the kiss she backed up until she was against the wall.

Her hands moved from my neck to my chest, we pulled away to catch our breaths. "Believe me now?" I asked catching my breath, she nod her head and attached our lips again, I ran my hands down to her shoulders I pulled the straps off her shoulders she stopped me. "In a tree house"

"Why not?" I asked leaning in but she stopped me. "No not in a tree house" She said shaking her head at me I shrugged while saying. "It was worth a try" She smacked my arm and i laughed.

"Let's go" She said grabbing my hand we climbed down and went back to the car's. "So same time tomorrow?" I joked. "Your on" She winked at me and started to head to her car. "Wait remember no telling my fiance" I said pointing at her. "No promises... I might head over there now" She said walking backwards.

I ran over to her and pushed her against her car she giggled. "If you do that, it will ruin what we have" I said. "Then i guess i better keep my mouth shut huh?" She asked, that was another thing i loved about her was her smart mouth. I smiled as did she and i attacked her lips with mine. We pulled away. "I'll finish later" I said and walked off. "You can't leave me hanging like that" she yelled after me.
