I am a full black wolf? That's... that's impossible? How?

Calm down.... We are special Aura. Just like your eyes ...

How do you know about my eyes...? That's a human thing?

I can feel them.

What??? They glow in wolf form? I'm a total freak...

Your not a freak and neither am I. She growls.

Sorry, sorry. Calm down Selene. So why is he freaking out? I ask her.

He has never seen a full black wolf, no one has! she beams proudly.

Oh.... How can we be a black wolf? Why us?!

We are special, haven't you always been told that?

No wonder he looks terrified.

I bow my head, showing my sadness about his reaction. I whimper and lie down on my stomach.

'aura' his voice echoes in my head. Woah...mind link. I forgot about that, I can mind link any wolf I meet when I am in range.

'Loki?...' I try out the link. He looks deep on though and that's when I hear his voice. 'I'm sorry for upsetting you... It's just... Your.... I've never seen anything like this.' He says cautiously. I can tell me doesn't want to hurt me.

'I know... I don't know why I am like this' ...why can't I be normal? My life would be so much less weird.

I look up at him and he doesn't look scared anymore. He smiles softly at me. I wonder what's going through his head right now?

'Your extremely special, be proud of that' he encourages. Yeah yeah, "special" - I'm pretty sure that's the worst thing to be called. People say it's good to be special and to be honest, I'm tired of hearing it.

"Wanna shift back now?" He asks out loud. I stop thinking a thousand thoughts a minute and realize how tired I am. My adrenaline rush has worn off and my body is two minutes from passing out.

I nod and sit up, once I'm standing on all fours, I imagine my human self. My bones ache at the thought of shifting again, but eventually snap back into place. 

As soon as my skin covers my body once again and my bones change, I fall down to the ground.

I realize that I have no clothes on and shiver at the cold air. Curling up to keep myself warm.
Loki rushes over and drops to the ground beside me. He picks me up bridle-style and carries me.

He walks straight into my house, straight to the stairs. He begins to walk up and my eyes barely stay open as he asks me where my room is. I mumble my response and snuggle into his arms. Why am I always falling asleep with him around?! He follows my directions and walks into my room. He glances around, raising an eyebrow at my shoe-wall.

He pulls my sheets back and places me gently in bed. Making sure to cover me completely.

He and sits down on the outside of my sheets, giving me space.

I fall asleep instantly, letting Selene show me her dreams.

We're walking through a forest, in wolf-form. I feel the dirt squish underneath my black paws. The green from the trees seems to vividly pop out, the birds and animals scurry around us.
