Two Weeks Later

It's been two weeks since the day Maia gave me the explanation. This morning, I'm currently out for a walk with Remi to the pack shops. The crisp fall air hits my arms, but my cute little fall jacket keeps me warm. Remi has a mini matching coat with little gloves too.

She smiles up at me and skips happily along the pathway. We try to travel to the town daily, meeting new people from the pack. It's been so great for me to learn about my roles as a Luna Queen. I try to help everyone I can, and so far I love everyone I've met.

It's crazy to belive the time has flown by so quickly, I feel like I've lived here my whole life. Damon has been the best mate imaginable, making me feel totally relaxed and comfortable. Plus, our pack has welcomed Remi and I with opened arms. No one has  dared to question Remi being their princess. They have just accepted her, without hesitation.

I think she might be the most popular pesron in the whole pack, everyone wants to meet her and the kids all want to play with her. Not that I mind at all, it keeps her busy outside all day, rather than watching tv or playing video games.

Mom constantly stays active in our lives, calling once a day to catch up with us. She's anxiously awaiting to come and visit us, and maybe even possibly live with us. We've been talking, and this pack could use another nurse, plus she wants to be apart of all of our lives. Especially Remi's life, she's worried sick that she will miss out on all the little things, that matter the most.

Remi wakes me out of my thought by tugging my hand and pointing. I look to where she's pointing and smie. Typical Remi, shes pointing  at the candy shop.

I look down at her and raise my eyebrow.

She gives me the pupppy dog eyes and curls her bottom lip.

"PLEASE mummy??" She says desperately.

I wait a few seconds, making her think I'm going to say no. She becomes so tense and nervous, I have to stifle my laugh and stay cool.

"Alright, but only one candy okay? Daddy will kill me if you come home with a sugar rush again" I warn her.

"Yay!!!!" She squeals and runs into my arms, hugging me tightly. I pick her up and walk towards the shop.

Ever since she discovered this place, she's been almost addicted to candy, but what little kid isn't right? Her favourites are the chocolate warshmallows and the Cotton candy.

I reach the door and pull it open, revealing the sweetest scents you have ever smelt. There is a mixture of rich milky chocolate and fresh sugary candies...so essentially heaven for anyone with a sweet tooth.

The farmiliar elderly man behind the counter smiles warmly at us, his wrinkles slightly creasing and his grey hair shining.

"Hello your Majesties" He says with a bow.

"Mr. Swan, how many times do I have to insist? Please call me Aura" I say with a smile of my own.

He grins and bows again.

"Probably many times more, your majesty"

I huff but smile, his manners are adorable.

Remi squirms in my arms, indicating she wants to be put down. I do and watch her run off down the isles.

"How are you this morning?" Mr. Swan asks while staring into my eyes.

"I'm good, thank you! It's been a crazy morning with my little fire cracker" I say with an exsasperated sigh.

He gives me a knowing smile.

"Don't worry, It will get better. But then the teenage years come, watch out for those" He says with a wink.
