Today started off pretty hectic. Last night when I told Damon I was on board for this ball, he went into planning mode. He explained that it is a black-tie event and that he already had a dress picked out for me.

I thought that was kind of strange. That he would choose for me. But Selene had growled at me, telling me to trust him.

Well okay then. Don't mess with the boss lady.

So that's why I'm here, sitting in the kitchen all alone, everyone one is out planning for tonight.

I insisted on helping, but of course Damon would not let me. Typical alpha male.

Then to top that off, Kayla ditched me for Hunter. I seriously hope she isn't rushing into this relationship.

Selene, what should we do?

Let's go for a run!! Change forms.

Holy crap. She's totally right. Let's do it!!!!

I jump up excitedly and run towards the back door throwing it open.

I'm only wearing simple clothes.... So oh well.

I jump up and shift mid air. Since I've done this a few times now I can do it easier and faster.

I force my bones to stretch and snap. My snout grows and my skin is replaced by black fur.

I land gracefully to the ground and continue sprinting towards the forest.

I push my legs faster and harder than before. Running as hard as I can.

I jump over logs and rocks. I come up to a beautiful clear stream.

Wow, this is amazing! The water looks crystal clear, you can see every little detail!

Let's go for a swim!!

But we've never swam in wolf form. I worry about that's could happen.

Stop being a dork!! Live life!

Okay okay! I pad over to the water and slowly step in. I wince at first contact. The water is absolutely freezing.

It's November remember?

With wolf warmth I kind of forgot about the season - Oops.

I  step further into the water and try to ignore the freezing shock administered into my system.

I leap into the water and submerge myself under. You know what, It's pretty much the same as a band aid! You have to do it quick!

I swim to the surface. Using my wolf legs to keep me afloat. Wow, this is really peaceful. My body begins to relax and adapt to the water.

Time passes... Maybe minutes.... Maybe hours.

My thoughts begin to go back to him. The man I can't seem to get out of my head.

Damon.

That remind me about the ball. I need to get back. I don't want to be late. I step out of the river and shudder immediately.

My body was used to the river temperature, and the wind in the air now is chilling me down to the bone.

Lets get back to the house ASAP!
