The cold air hits my arms as we walk down the pathway from my house to my car. I unlock the door and hop in, Loki sits in the passenger side. He looks around inspecting my car, "not bad" he smirks. I start the engine and speed off down the driveway. Slamming the breaks at the end of the driveway for half a second to see no one coming, then speeding down the road. I glance over at Loki and he seems distressed.
"What's wrong" I ask nonchalantly.
"I didn't realize you wanted to die young!" He snaps.
I roll my eyes and slow down, he seems to calm down. We are almost at his house anyways. I pull into the driveway and sure enough see my moms car. Parking beside it, we get out and walk towards the door. My stomach feels so nervous, like tiny bees are jabbing around the inside, I never liked the term butterflies in your stomach, my anxiety is far worse than that.
He opens the front door and the smell of baked cookies hits me.
"Mhhhm" I practically moan. I'm a sucker for food.
Loki raises an eyebrow at me and I just shrug, he just laughs.
"Honey, were in here" my mom yells out. We follow her voice into the kitchen and see sure enough, she's there with Odeon. They has just taken cookies out of the oven and we're letting them cool.
"Hello, I think you both know why your here" Odeon says, breaking the ice.
"Yes... You want to know about my change" I say nervously.
"Exactly, now tell me my dear, how was it? Was it exciting? What colour are you?" He says all at once.
"Well..." I look to my mother for encouragement, she nods and smiles. I breathe in and continue.
"Well... It hurt a lot, but I got used to that." He nods.
"I felt my wolf emerge and I met her, she great" I smile. My mom smiles as well.
"What else?" Odeon grumbles, seeming not to care about Selene.
HOW RUDE, I'll teach him manners... She snarls.
Woahhh girl..... Calm the heck down, that's our ALPHA.
She grunts and quiets. I look up to see them waiting, I quickly hurry on with my story.
"Well... I don't know if you'll believe me" his eyebrows draw together at my words.
"What is it?" He commands.
"I.. I am... I am a full black wolf." I say quietly.
Expecting to hear laughter I see my mom smile proudly. Odeon looks happy as well.
"You believe me?!!" I ask excitedly!
"Of course, your mother and I always knew you would be extremely special." he tells me.
"Although I'm seriously impressed that your all black, you will make a perfect Luna for our pack" he tells me.
I flush and look away, earning a chuckle from Odeon.
"Well let's go see your wolf then" my mom tells me happily, grabbing my arm.
We walk arm by arm out to the backyard and into the grassy middle. They form a circle around me and I stand there calming down.
