Chris' P.O.V

She really infuriates me when she ignores me. I sighed and watched as she made her way around the demons. I couldn't exactly see her since she decided to cloak herself with spirit, but I knew where she was. It was strange to explain but it was almost as though Lila's soul was glowing. A deep white colour floated around the room whenever she moved. It made me smile since I was the only one that could see her when she was cloaked. Dad had told me that it was probably to do with the fact that I was so in love with her that her elements allowed me to see her. In a way.

Chris you can jump in any time now  her voice appeared in my head. I frowned as I realised how quiet her voice was. Usually I heard her crystal clear, almost as though she's talking right into my ear.

Lila you need to un-cloak yourself now. Your voice has gone really quiet  I replied as I ran a hand through my dark brown hair but did as she said anyway. She didn't reply and so I assumed that she was going to ignore me. Again.

I hated it when I agreed with Wyatt but he was right. I am definitely whipped. Whenever she asks me to do something I would do it, just to make her happy. And I couldn't resist her when she looked at me with her green flecked eyes.

I moved swiftly into the living room. The boy was still sitting on the chair but he had curled into himself, not wanting to watch what was happening. The demon that had grabbed him by the hair approached me. I pulled my arm back and punched him full force in the face. It knocked him out and he fell to the ground.

I looked around the room to find some sort of weapon that I could use and instantly spotted a large shard of glass just a few feet away from where I was standing. I pointed at it before swinging my arm over to the demon, the glass following before I stabbed the demon with it. He erupted into smoke. Looking around the room I saw that Lila was dealing with the robed demon. I smiled slightly and decided to watch her.

"Ahhhh" came a fighting cry and I turned to my right to see a demon running towards me. I laughed and rolled my eyes. Wow some of these demons are so stupid. I brought my hand up and scrunched it into a fist. The demon stopped and clutched his chest. I tapped my foot impatiently and after five seconds, the demon flopped to the floor and turned into ash. That was definitely my favourite part of telekinesis when I used it on demons. That reminded me, I had to show Wyatt, though he could probably do it already.

"Chris" Lila called me and I rushed over to the fireplace since she had dragged the woman over there since I could see the tiny little white glow of Lila next to the woman. I rolled my eyes at her.

"Lila I can't see you" I said and heard her laugh. I fell to my knees next to where I could see the white orb. Wow her laugh was so beautiful that I sometimes found it hard to stay standing.

"Sorry about that" she said and I felt slightly sad as she sent spirit away. I watched in awe as slowly the cloak spirit gave her peeled away, like an onion skin, revealing my girlfriend. Her eyes twinkled as she looked at me before she directed her attention to the woman.

Her hand hovered over the woman's head. My spirit soared for a few seconds before disappearing. I knew then that she had called spirit to her to help her heal the woman. Shock and panic came through the bond. I slipped my hand into hers and squeezed her hand lightly. She twined her fingers with mine and I marvelled at how they perfectly fit in the gaps between my fingers. I never got tired of holding her hand.

"Lila what's wrong?" I asked her and she looked at me tears in her eyes.

"Something's wrong with spirit. I can't heal her" was her reply. I drummed my fingers on my leg before placing them on the woman's throat. Her pulse thrummed against my fingertips. I smiled.

"She's alive" I said and Lila sighed in relief.

"What about the boy?" I asked as he had been hit a few times. She nodded and let go of my hand before walking over to the chair where he was still rolled in a ball.

"Hey there. Remember me?" she spoke softly to the boy. He lifted his head and Lila blocked his view of the woman. The boy nodded and I could almost imagine Lila grinning at him.

"You're Lila" I heard him say and Lila nodded.

"Yep that's me. And you're Harry" she popped the 'p' as she tends to do. I find it quite cute how she does that, though I'd probably never tell her. The boy, Harry, nodded.

"Okay so I'm going to have to ask you to trust me. Your Nan is feeling a little bit ill so we are going back to my house where we can make her feel better. Is that okay with you?" she asked the boy. He bit his lip while he thought and then nodded. I cocked my head to the side. Wow I never knew she had a way with children. I smiled slightly as I thought that she would be an awesome mom in the future. Then I blushed as I realised what I had just thought. Oops I hope she hadn't heard that, but she made no hint showing that she had.

"That's good. Okay so I'm going to take you. You see the guy over there?-" she said looking at me and smiling. I grinned back as Harry nodded, "-well he's my boyfriend and he will look after your Nan" she explained and Harry nodded again. My stomach churned as she said 'boyfriend' even though we'd been together for two months already it still made me nervous when I heard that. At least I knew that she still loved me. I rolled my eyes as I remembered hearing her thoughts earlier when she thought I would break up with her. It had really hurt that she had so little faith in me but I had just shrugged it off.

Chris can you orb her back to the manor and call Wyatt to heal her please?  Lila asked looking at me. I nodded and she smiled before taking Harry's hand and shimmering back home.

Looking around the living room I saw how bad the fighting had gotten. There were scorch marks over the walls and floor where fireballs had missed their target. The target being my invisible girlfriend, and also where the demons had been vanquished. I must admit though it was slightly unnerving that she had enough power to vanquish upper level demons without potions or spells. Though earlier I found it quite a turn on. I shook my head, trying to get rid of thoughts of my girlfriend, though it was kind of pointless considering she was always on my mind.

Sighing I placed my hands on the woman's arms and orbed us back home. Wow she is slightly heavy I thought as I felt the floor beneath us disappear.
