We were currently sitting outside the café where Melinda, Amy and I tend to go. Chris had a soda and I was drinking a bottle of water. Apparently Wyatt drank water often. I smiled at Chris and he returned it before looking over my shoulder again. I shrugged it off and continued gulping water down.
"Chris" a male voice called. I turned to see one of Chris' guy friends walking towards us, his name was Drew if I recalled it right. I had at one point before thought he was good looking, but he had nothing on Chris.
Drew had shoulder length, shaggy brown hair with matching brown eyes and a cocky grin to go with his persona. I never saw him without his trademark baggy jeans that came halfway down his backside. Seriously pull your trousers up because it looks like you need a diaper change. The jeans were paired with a black top with a biker jacket over the top. I could tell he was proud of his body because the top hugged his torso and the jacket was tight enough so that others could see he had large arms.
"Drew" Chris smiled back and got up to hug Drew, the way boys do where they slap each other's backs. My eyes widened as I hoped I wouldn't have to do that.
"Wyatt" Drew nodded to me and I nodded back though I could tell by the way Drew acted with me that things were tense between him and Wyatt. Note to self: find out why. Drew sat down on the bench next to Chris.
"So what'cha up to bro?" Drew turned to Chris. Chris shrugged.
"Nothing, just hanging with Wyatt" he replied and Drew grinned. I rolled my eyes at them but tried my best to ignore them.
I decided to pry on Wyatt's thoughts. He did with mine, intentionally or not, so I decided to do the same. I drummed my fingertips against my leg while I searched Wyatt's brain for anything that seemed exciting. I instantly came up with the answer to my question about Drew.
It seemed that Drew and Amy once dated, a few years ago. This had happened when we became Freshmen. I frowned at this. How come she didn't tell me? After about one month Drew dumped her saying that it was his fault, he just wasn't comfortable anymore with their relationship. Amy accepted it but the next day at school she saw him with another girl. The same girl who was in her homeroom and was best friends with me. My eyes widened. Terri! Terri had been the reason as to why Drew had dumped Amy. That afternoon Wyatt had found Amy sitting on the bleachers by the school field while he was training for soccer. As he was best friends with Drew, Amy knew him because they hung out together. So Wyatt went to her and Amy had cried on his shoulder, blurting out what had happened. From that point on she realised that she didn't care about Drew, because she secretly had feelings for Wyatt. When she came over to the Manor for the first time when we became friends she was pleasantly surprised to find that I lived with Wyatt.
"Wyatt?" Chris asked. It took me a moment to realise that he was calling me. We had to keep up pretences in front of other non-magical folk. I shook my head.
"Sorry Chris" I said and gave him a lop-sided smile. The same kind that Wyatt sometimes gave me. Chris nodded at Drew. I frowned but turned my gaze towards him anyway. I would definitely give this guy a piece of my mind when I was back in my old body. I felt the part of me that was still Wyatt smile at this.
"How's Amy?" Drew taunted. I shrugged.
"Alright, though I don't see what business it is of yours" I replied, hearing Wyatt's voice as my own. I never thought I'd say this but I miss hearing my voice when I talked, though Wyatt's voice wasn't too bad. Drew grinned at me before nodding.
