"Lila? Do you still want to talk to your Mom? Because we're going to send her back soon" Wyatt said from below me. I screamed and landed on my backside.

"Ouch" I exclaimed and rubbed where I hurt myself as I got up.

I had been meditating in the parlour, except I'd chosen to use air so that I was floating in the air near to the ceiling. What can I say it helps me become calmer as it feels like I've got my own space, since Wyatt hasn't yet mastered how to use his orbs in this way. Leo was currently teaching him in some of the lessons they had at magic school.

"Sorry Lila I didn't think I would scare you" he said and I glared at him.

"Well you're the all powerful Wyatt Halliwell with some kick-ass power, of course you scare me. I never know when I might push you too far" I replied, smiling slightly. I was in a weird mood, even for me. Wyatt rolled his eyes at me.

"So did you still want to talk to her?" he asked me and I nodded at him.

"But I thought she was talking to Harry?" I questioned.

"Yeah she finished talking to him about five minutes ago, and she's been watching you meditate since" he explained and I nodded again.

"Can I tag along, you know to make sure that you will be okay? And I also want to talk to you after you've finished with your mom" he asked.

Wyatt has been getting me to talk to him about what has happened throughout the week, but I would always make up some stupid excuse to avoid talking. I had no idea what he wanted to talk about in particular but since I was tired of running away from it now and had decided to face it.

"Sure why not?" I replied and Wyatt smiled before gathering my hand and my Mom's in his and orbing out of the Manor.

I heard a whooshing sound when we landed and when I opened my eyes, which had been shut because orbing now makes me slightly dizzy, I nearly screamed at the view.

Wyatt had orbed us to the top of Golden Gate Bridge. Sure I came here every so often but the height freaks me out slightly. I mean I love heights, but only when I'm firmly strapped in.

I felt disconnected being up here because today was a misty day, meaning I could hardly see anything from where we were since the mist was thick.

"So what's on your mind?" Mom asked me as I sat down opposite her, on the red metal of the bridge. Wyatt sighed before sitting down next to me and when I looked, I saw him studying me. I looked back at my mom, biting my lip as I did so.

"Chris and I broke up" I stated and she nodded at me, while gathering my hands in hers. Even though she was dead her hands were still as warm as I remember, and I found that comforting.

"I know sweetie, I guessed when you set Jaggier straight. What happened? You both looked so happy together" she replied and I looked down at my lap.

"Well at school on Monday I caught him kissing another girl. Then when he tried to make things better all he succeeded in doing was making me feel worse. So he turned it around and blamed me because I apparently close myself off to him all of the time, before basically saying that my being half demon was unnatural, when thinking about it if it wasn't for Wyatt being prophesised then he probably wouldn't have had the chance of being born himself" I sighed, realising that I was rambling and squeezing the heck out of my Mom's hands. She smiled when I loosened my grip, and I knew that I had hurt her slightly.
