Wyatt, Chris and I walked into the kitchen as I wanted to get a hot water bottle. Wyatt was mumbling about my reply to his question while Chris held my hand.
"Sit" Chris instructed and pointed to the table in the kitchen.
"Woof" I replied, feeling like a dog when he told me to sit. He glared at me and it turned into a stand off. It was something we tended to do a lot, especially when I didn't want to do what Chris was telling me. Usually we glared at each other until the other person broke, and I always won. Today I wasn't in the mood and ended up bursting into a fit of giggles. When the giggles subsided, I shrugged and did what he told me. If he wanted me to sit then I would.
Wyatt sat on the chair opposite me, with his back to the utility room while Chris whistled as he filled up a hot water bottle for me.
"Dude?" Wyatt said and Chris stopped to look at his brother. A few seconds went by a Chris gave Wyatt the finger. Am I missing something here? I was slightly confused before a light bulb went off. Oh right they must have conferred using their bonds with me. Wyatt snorted at Chris.
"Yeah real mature lil' brother. Swear at me in front of your girl" he said and I could tell Chris was deciding what to do. I, on the other hand, decided to glare at Wyatt.
"Hey dude, your Mom's real mature, You know if your Mom wasn't Piper" I said frowning as I realised that didn't make sense. I shrugged and carried on "-besides I am not a toy. Chris does not own me. Though I do own him" I replied and Wyatt rolled his eyes before laughing while Chris stuck his tongue out at me before pouting.
"Fine then, you can do your hot water bottle yourself" he replied crossing his arms in front of him while he leaned against the sink. I shrugged and stood up.
"Fine then, it's not like I asked you to do it in the first place" I replied, grinding my teeth as my stomach hurt with every step I took. Though I had to admit, Chris made me want to go and kiss him when he did that. Shut Up Lila! I scolded myself before walking over to my boyfriend. He shook his head and placed his hands on my hips before backing me up against a chair. My foot hit one of the chair legs, and I grabbed hold of the side of the island before sitting down to stop myself from falling backwards. When I was sat down Chris turned and carried on with my hot water bottle.
"I don't get it" Wyatt said. I turned to see him scratching his head. Wow he must really be confused about something I thought. Wyatt never scratches his head that much anymore. He used to when he was younger, and trying to figure out something that he didn't understand, but he grew out of that when he was eight.
"What don't you get?" I asked him and he frowned.
"Why you're in pain?" he ran his hand through his golden hair, which was starting to become slightly darker. I laughed at his discomfort. He tends to run his hand through his hair when he feels uneasy doing, or saying, something.
"It's called being a female. Without this, you guys wouldn't be able to have offspring" I said, and then shivered at the thought of having children. Sure I liked them. Heck I'd helped with Melinda when she was a baby and now I had a little brother of my own, but the thought of me being a parent made me feel queasy. Mostly because I couldn't picture myself as a parent, and also because my child would have demonic powers. I didn't want to pass that on to any child I might have, especially if I had a child with Chris. Wyatt rolled his eyes.
