Des was so excited. He was on his way to pick up his sister. That meant he was going to see Addisyn as well.  He drove his usual route bumping "Cut It" by OT Genasis and Young Dolph. As he pulled up to her house, he fixed himself up just in case she opened the door. He knocked lightly and waited. As the door opened there he stood. Desmond's eyes grew big as he saw this guy standing looking back at him.

"KILLA?! MAN IS THAT YOU?!" Des said in excitement man hugging his best friend, practically his brother.

"Man, what the hell are you doing here? I haven't heard from your ass in a while!" Killa said returning Des's hug.

"I'm picking up my baby sister. What you doing here?" Des asked as the two looked at each other in confusion. His heart began to race. Was he at the right house? He stepped back and remembered the same structure from the previous days, yeah he was at the right place. What if he were here for Addisyn? Could it be her boyfriend? If that was the case he could consider her off limits, he couldn't fuck with his best friend's girl. It wouldn't be right. He looked down defeated before he heard the devastating news. Before Killa could even respond, they heard someone ask,

"Who's at the Door Ky?" Des saw as Addisyn came to the door frame. What the hell? Des thought.

"You know Killa?" Des asked Addisyn, completely forgetting the greeting he'd planned to say on the car ride there. Addisyn looked at him confused.

"You know Addy?" Kyle asked Des.

"You know my brother?" Addisyn asked Des.

"Wait, your Brother!" Des asked in shock and relieved at the same time as the three stared at each other in confusion.

Kyle sat on the living room couch and looked at Addisyn, Des, and Tandie. He sighed, knowing that his secret past had to come out to his sister now.

"I don't get it." Addisyn said. Kyle looked at her and sighed.

"Look, Addy. Back when I was in high school, Des and I use to run the streets. I wanted more for my life and I knew it was expected of me to want more. I even wanted more for my boy but he said he loved his life. So I went to college." he said trying to explain it the best he could. The room was still silent. Addisun was still looking down at her feet not being able to cope with anything he just said. He had been lying to her. He had been holding things from her. No telling what she doesn't know now. Des, sitting next to Addisyn rubbed her back to show sympathy. Tandie just looked not knowing what to say. This was al new to her as well. She thought Kyle looked familiar but didn't remember him running the streets with her brother. She was fixated on his looks. He and Addy looked very similar and she thought she was beautiful so of curse she was crushing hard on Kyle. Once she found out that he ran the streets with her big bro thought she knew he was off limits so she would just have to look and not act on her impulses. Des saw how quiet it was getting and tried to loosen the tension in the air.

"Damn Killa I would've never thought that she was your baby sister" Des said licking his lips. Kyle watched as Addisyn blush hearing Des mention her. He could see her in deep thought but he didn't want to overwhelm her with questions.

"So you mean you two were best friends?" Kyle watched Tandie asked.

"Damn right." he said answering her question.

"So Kyle you were Killa?! You were the one that everybody kept suspecting of that woman's murder." Addisyn said finally breaking her silence. She looked up and stared him dead in the eye. Her eyes beginning to water shaking her head. Kyle knew nothing good would become of acknowledging his past besides reuniting with Des. He and Addy were very close. They had always shared their secrets with each other. He knew of all the insecurities his sister had and she knew of the things he endured with his coaches and grades in school. She'd assumed that the bruises he exposed to her from school were of those fights and bullies he'd mentioned to her. She wondered if they all were lies.
