If Only She Knew: The Beauty of a Big Girl

Addisyn was walking with Desmond in the mall. He'd taken her to a mall out of town just so Dante or his friends wouldn't see them together. Addisyn didn't care she saw them as friends but Desmond didn't want anyone saying anything. The two were walking hand in hand. They sat in footlocker as Desmond bought a pair of the newest Jordan's which he had waiting for him. They came out the day before and the store sold out but since he was the King of LA he made it happen for both him and Addisyn. He was in deep conversation with one of the workers about a previous basketball game when Addisyn tapped him.

"Yeah baby?" He asked.

"I'm going to go look around the mall." She said. He nodded and kissed her forehead then she left. Addisyn looked at a mirror. She was beginning to find some beauty in her features. Des was always giving her compliments of the smallest things it started to actually have an effect on her and she was starting to see it for herself. The additional fat she once saw as disgusting in her belly still gave the illusion of a flat belly and she thought that one day she might even wear a crop top. Maybe! Her hips which were wider than most Des loved to hold on and her bottom always made her comfortable but des always found his way to it every time they hugged or he stole a kiss from her.  Today she decided to wear a loose fitting black shirt that fit her perfectly. She also wore a pair of skinny jeans which she had been shocked she could fit in to and a pair of black classic chuck taylors. She was dressed down but was thought she looked very presentable. She looked at her hair which escaladed down to the bottom of her back when she realized that someone other than herself had been watching her. She turned around to see a very beautiful boy. He was about Desmond's height and he was a caramel color. He had dreadlocks in an updo and was rubbing his hands together as he watched Addy. He was dressed perfectly. Addisyn turned around and smiled as he stood star struck.

"Yes?" She asked as he was still amazed by her. He smiled and walked over to her.

"How you doing beautiful? They call me Martin, what's yo name?" He asked. She smiled.

"Addisyn." She said. He nodded.

"That's very pretty. So Addisyn, I don't mean to pry but are you mixed with something?" He asked. She nodded.

"My dad is black and Puerto Rican and my mother is from Mauritius." She said. He nodded licking his lips.

"Damn, I don't even know where that is, but you so damn pretty." He told her. She laughed.

"Thank you. Most people down it's a small island east of Madagascar."

"That's interesting. Well would it be too forward if I ask you for your number? Maybe we could talk more?" He asked.

"That's sweet, but I have a boyfriend." She said. He nodded.

"I understand you want to be respectful of his feelings," He said. "but just in case you ever need someone to kick it with..." He grabbed a card out of his wallet and handed it to Addisyn. She looked at it before sticking it in her back pocket. "until next time, Addisyn." He said looking in her eyes and walked away. Addisyn shook her head and walked back into footlocker to see Des still in deep conversation about the game between the Warriors and the Cavs. Desmond looked at her and smiled. He pulled her into a hug and kissed her neck. She giggled and smiled.

"yea man this my wifey. I don't plan on letting no one take her away from me."

Desmond said to the clerk as he rang him up. Addy rolled her eyes to keep from smiling but it didn't work.

"I have to talk to you." He whispered to her as they walked out the store with a few bags. She looked curious and turned around to whisper in his ear.

"About?" She asked.

"I saw you flirting with that guy. We'll talk in the car." Addisyn was shocked. Flirting? Please it was far from flirting and Des wasn't her man to begin with. She had no intentions of calling him anyway. He was cute but she had enough problems between Dante and Des adding Martin would only make matters worse. She was guilty of nothing so she shrugged it off and walked to the car. In the car, Addisyn waited for Desmond to start talking. He didn't say a word.

"Well?" She asked anxiously.

"Well what? Like I said I saw you flirting." He was upset Addisyn could tell.

"Desmond I love you. I wasn't flirting with him. I told him that I had a boyfriend." Desmond still looked upset. Addisyn sighed. Desmond grabbed her hand and kissed it.

"Addy promise me that your heart is with me." He said she looked at him and smiled. Addisyn was quiet for a minute and Des never lost his grip on her hand. She loved him and she had never even got close to the same feelings with Dante. She had to make things right, it was starting to eat away at her. She claimed they were friends but she knew it was more. She had to make things right and she would have to start right now with Des.

"I promise." She said.

"Promise me you'll always remember that no matter what happens you are my wifey and I'm going to marry you someday." He said, she giggled.

"I promise." She said. He leaned in her ear and nibbled on it.

"Promise me you'll let me be your first." He said. She moaned.

"I promise." She said. Desmond chuckled and looked at her.

"Just promise me no lies. That'll you'll be completely honest with me." Addisyn said. He nodded.

"I'm not perfect Addy. If I make mistakes, it's not meant to hurt you intentionally. I would never do something like that. But I'm only human baby. Just know that I love you with all my being and if I ever lost you, I don't know what I'd do." Desmond said as they pulled out of the mall parking lot.

"I know Desmond." She said. He kissed her cheek and his hand rubbed her thighs. The rest of the ride was quiet. Desmond pulled up to Addisyn's house. She kissed him on the cheek but he grabbed her and turned it into a deep passionate kiss.

"What was that for?" She asked. He wiped her lips and smiled.

"For being sexy and being mine." He said. She smiled and kissed his lips then left. As she walked to her house he called her back.

"Yeah?" She answered curiously?

"I love you baby." He said. She smiled and blew him a kiss. He drove off and Addisyn went into her house.
