Addisyn rushed to her bathroom to fix herself up. She wiped her eyes and fixed her makeup so it was hard to tell she had been crying. She ran her fingers through her hair and reapplied her lipstick to make sure it was perfect.

Why does loving someone hurt so much? She thought to herself. She sighed, looked in the mirror one last time as the doorbell rang. She smoothed her dress down and walked down the stairs to greet her date.

"Hey beautiful." He said kissing her cheek.

"Hey Martin." Addisyn said. It was the boy from the mall, Martin. (go back a couple of chapters if you don't remember)

"Hey baby girl, you ready to go?" He asked.

"Yeah, just let me get my key." She said running back up the stairs. Addisyn grabbed her key and saw a picture of her and Desmond. She was on his lap as he kissed her cheek. She shook her head and put the picture face down and went back downstairs. "Ready." She said. They walked out of the house as and she made sure to lock up. As they approached the Car Martin opened the door for her to get in. Just as she was sliding into her seat she saw Desmond's car speeding down the block and park just in front of Martin. She smacked her forehead and sighed. Desmond rushed out of the car and to her side. He looked like a different person, someone she'd never seen before. It was obvious he was mad.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND!" Desmond yelled at her. He thought maybe she was kidding and just trying to get in his head by saying she was going on a date but she was actually doing it. He looked over at Martin and immediately remembered where he'd seen him before. Addisyn was being shady, yeah he messed up but he was a man and she was in a whole relationship when they started talking. How was her case any different? She must have lost half of her damn brain cells if she thinks I'm going to let her fuck around on me. Des thought. Addisyn had enough. She thought she'd gave Desmond a chance after the way he seemed to be fighting for her but he showed her that he really didn't care about her.

"Desmond, go home. I'm trying to move on. Don't come to my house with this bull. I already told you, we're over." She said. Desmond took a deep breath, not wanting to push her that far.

"just give me one minute." He said softly.

"NO!" she yelled.

"FABIOLA, NOW!" He yelled her middle name. Addisyn looked at him and she could tell he was serious. She didn't want to give him the benefit of the doubt but she buckled down and stepped away from Martin.

"Martin, please give me a minute." She said to her date. She walked over to Desmond's car. "One minute, make it good." She said. He was silent for a few seconds still in shock she was actually going out with someone else.

"You couldn't wait a week?" He asked rhetorically. "You must have been cheating. You did it with me and Dante, why not with me and this guy." Addisyn put her hand up to try and slap him but Desmond caught her and pushed her against the car.

"Were you cheating?" Desmond asked.

"NO!" Addisyn yelled. Pushing him. But he didn't move at all.

"You fucking this nigga?" He asked looking her in the eye. He wasn't mad he was really calm but Addisyn could tell he was upset.

"Desmond I said no, God get the hell off of me." She said in defeat.
