If Only She Knew: The Beauty of a Big Girl

Word Travels Fast..

Monday came sooner than expected and Tandie was in class waiting to get out of it to talk to Addisyn. She had been bored out of her mind all day. And she wanted to speak to her.

Finally when the bell rang Tandie quickly jetted out the class room. She ran to her locker and headed for lunch. As she walked she saw her crush Elijah walking with his friends, Dante was apart of the crew. He was on the Basketball team like Dante. Her hope was that once Addy got in a relationship with Dante is was only a matter of time before her and Elijah would be going out on double dates with them. That is if Des would allow it, which was highly unlikely. She smiled when he looked her way.

"Hi Elijah." she said. He smiled for a second. Then his friend whispered something in his ear and Elijah's smile quickly faded as he kept walking forward. Tandie huffed. It was probably the same old thing. Des's Baby sister. She sighed and sat down at the table with her cheerleading friends. She hated him so much for doing this to her.

"Hey Tandie, we haven't seen you in a minute. We seen you hanging with Addisyn. Nice that you've been doing charity by hanging with the big girl." A girl named Marley said. Tandie gave her the most disgusted look and rolled her eyes. She loved hanging with Addisyn. It was definitely not charity work. She was better company than her cheerleaders on her worst day. They cared too much about what others thought of them. The good thing about Addisyn was that she wasn't so full of herself. She looked around for Addisyn and she hadn't made it to the cafeteria yet. She noticed Elijah and his crew walk toward the cheerleader table. She smiled at him again. He smiled back but walked past the "cheer-table" to a lone table in the back of the cafeteria. She turn around to the girls defeated. Why was he ignoring her?

"I just waved to Elijah and he just smiled then ignored me." she said. They giggled and scoffed.

"Well duh? Your brother is Des and your boyfriend is Killa. Did you really think Elijah would give you the time of day?" Another girl by the name of Stephanie ask rhetorically. Tandie scoffed then she realized what the last part was.

"Wait, who's my boyfriend?" she asked hoping she didn't hear what she thought she heard.

"Oh don't make us say it again you lucky bitch." Marley said "You bagged a thug. He fine as hell too, I thought your brother wasn't letting you date?" Tandie's heart beat quickened. Me dating Kyle, Addy's brother, how the hell could this even be true? She didn't even remember him. She didn't know anything about him except for what she heard Des tell. She didn't want this. Why would Kyle tell people this? Des was going to him. Wait Does des know? All of these things were running through her head. She gathered her things and called up her brother.

"Yea" he said. He sounded calm so maybe he hadn't heard anything yet.

"Des if you hear anything about Kyle and I dating. It's a lie, I swear!" she said quickly. He chuckled.

"Word travels fast." He said. He didn't sound mad or anything. Was this his work? "I was going to tell you myself but anyway as of now you do." He said. Tandie dropped her phone and stood in shock. Why was he trying t ruin her life. As soon as her phone drop she saw Addisyn rush into the cafeteria looking for her.

"TANDIE...." She said furiously.
