"Luke, stop!" You said between laughs as he chased you through the hangar.
Weaving amongst the airships, you gave in, slowing down and trying to catch your breath.
"I knew you couldn't outrun me, Y/N" He smirked at you, cornering you into the side of a small aircraft. He stretched his arms out onto the wall, trapping you in.
You shoved him playfully, "oh come on, Skywalker, I let you win."
He feigned a look of shock before laughing, and before too long you were both laughing together.
It suddenly became quiet again between you as your laughter died down. You cleared your throat and looked at him now, realising how close your faces had become.
You averted your eyes quickly, feeling your cheeks redden.
"I'm so in love with you, Y/N," you heard your friend mumble.
Your head shot up immediately, "What?"
His eyes widened and he ran a hand nervously through his hair, "Uh, nothing. I just, I–I,"
A wave of confidence rushed over you and you moved him closer to you, pressing your lips to his.
When you parted, you smiled, "For what it's worth, Luke, I love you too."
