Father and Son (Poe Dameron x Reader)

"Dada!" Your one year old son exclaimed as he saw Poe in the hangar.

"Y/S/N, come back here!" You said, chasing him as he weaved through the X Wings to get to Poe.

He turned around a corner and by the time you reached him, he had almost reached Poe.

"Hey, buddy!" Poe crouched down, opening his arms out to him.

Y/S/N got a little too excited and started fumbling. Poe picked him up before he could fall over, "You're getting fast now, little guy," He grinned, holding him on his hip,
"Where'd you leave your mummy?"

"Over here," You laughed, walking up to them, Poe hugged you with his free arm, "He's been restless all day, I thought a trip to see you might do him some good."

"Well I'm glad you came," Poe said in a baby voice as he tickled Y/S/N under the chin, who started giggling. "You're in luck, pal, I was just about to take the old X-Wing out," Poe said, gesturing in front of him.

You looked at the rusted looking X-Wing and raised your eyebrow, "You are not taking our son out in that, Poe. It's scrap metal!"

"It works perfectly, Y/N. Besides, I'm going to need someone to take over the family business when we're old," He winked.

You rolled your eyes, "Being a Resistance pilot isn't exactly a family business, Dameron."

He laughed, kissing your cheek, "We'll be five minutes, I promise."

Before you could protest, Poe began to climb into the cockpit. He put your son in his lap before strapping the two of them in.

You sighed, climbing up the step ladder, "Five minutes Poe, and then you're coming right back."

"Yes Ma'am."

"Stay safe boys, I love you," You planted a kiss on both of their foreheads.

"We love you too, Y/N," Poe smiled, "And we'll be fine. Besides, I've got the cutest co-pilot in the entire galaxy to help me out."
