"What the hell, Brandy! I give you my trust, and this is how you treat me! I can't believe you!" Taylor yells at me as I walk to the cafeteria.
I giggle to myself. For an athlete, he's a great actor.
"I don't know what you mean," I say calmly.
"I saw you with Josh in your bedroom, Brandy!"
"So what? You know what you got yourself into when you asked me to be your girlfriend, and now you're experiencing it."
"You told me you changed. Was it all a lie?" We stop in front of the doors to the lunch room, where a ton of students gather around to hear everything.
"Apparently if I'm more interested in Josh than you. You're too boring. You lost me, Taylor."
He bites his lip, struggling to not let out a laugh. He twists his face into a weird grimace instead.
"Fine, Brandy. If you don't want to be with me then I guess that's it."
"Yeah, thank God." I wink at him when everyone dissolves from the circle of people watching us.
Josh: I'm outside. Hurry up.
"There's my ride. I'll see you later," I tell Taylor, still with a fake sassiness in my voice. Phase two, finished.
When I get outside I let out the laugh I couldn't bare to hold in and searched for Josh's car. I finally spot him and walk to his car.
"Hello, Gorgeous, how is your day going so far?" he asks, his voice still as smooth as ever.
"Just dandy. Where to?"
"Don't be in such a rush; we've got an hour." He starts his car. "I want to do something fun like how we did a long time ago."
"If it involves anymore selfies with you, I completely refuse," I snap. He didn't miss the tone in my words; his smirk soon disappeared.
"So you still remember that little video I have. I was beginning to think you forgot. Tell me, this little 'reunion' isn't to try to take the video from me is it?"
"Why would I do that? You'd just try to get revenge, and people like us really don't have the time to do something so ridiculous. This entire blackmailing thing you have going on is an understatement of just crazy. It's unexplainable, really." I cross my arms over my chest and roll my eyes. "I don't see why I'm so important to blackmail anyway. It's not like you don't have girls at the ready for you whenever you need them."
"None of them are you, Baby Girl." I gag at the name I once used to swoon at. Jesus Christ, he is such a player (and here I go again with the understatements).
"That doesn't give you an excuse to make me a nervous wreck all of the time, Josh."
"So I make you nervous?"
I scoff and stop talking for the rest of the ride. From what I can tell, we end up behind a bunch of stores and restaurants where no one could spot us unless they really looked.
"Why are we back here? Josh, don't try anything stupid," I warn.
"God, Brandy, I can never have fun with you. Jeez, you were paranoid when I last dated you, and you're paranoid now. Have a little trust in me. Please." I roll my eyes again in response. "Now, I said I wanted to have a some fun."
Before I could sprint out of the car, he had a hand on my wrist and pulled me so close I could feel him breathing on my nose. He smelled like fruity Tic-tacs.
"Kiss me, Princess," he demands.
"Can't we eat first? I didn't even eat breakfast... I'm starving." He lets go, thank God, and gets out of the car. I open my door and get out too. I have to catch up to him (how rude) because he's not considerate enough to wait for me.
"Where do you want to go?" he asks coldly. I roll my eyes at his impatience.
"A place with a lot of people."
He rolls his eyes this time. "You just love the attention, don't you? Jeez, Baby Girl, you're more cocky than me."
"Go big, or go home, right?" I say, my voice getting smaller and smaller with each word. He manages to hear what I say.
Josh smacks my butt and roughly places an arm around my waist. "That's right," he laughs, and we walk into a Pick Up Sticks with tons of die-hard Jandy fans.
We don't have to wait long at all to get to the front of the line, and we order to-go since Josh didn't want to sit in the restaurant.
It was comfortable for a little while until I saw him starting to finish his food, which means he's going to pick on me whether I'm hungry or not. I shove my food in my mouth as fast as possible without looking like a monster, just in time for him to give me an "Asian food & chill" look.
I slowly slip my phone from my Hollister Jeans and press record on the camera.
"Princess..." Josh calls, drawing out the last half of my nickname. I glance at him then back at my hands in my lap.
"I can't do this today, Josh. I just wanted to hang out with you. That's all."
"Yes, but we both know 'hang out' in my opinion is a completely different definition from yours."
I nod my head. "I guess it was dumb of me to think you'd actually change."
"I can change." His hand was on my knee working its way upwards. "I can change for you."
I stop his hand from going any farther up. "I'm not stupid to make that promise for the umpteenth time. You'll have to do better than that."
"I'll keep your little slip up a secret. I know you wouldn't want that to get out."

Bobby hands me the drive. "All done. Everything is on here."
"Thanks, Bobby. I appreciate it," I say.
"No problem, Jess. Have a good one."
I can't believe I'm helping Satan's wife's daughter with her issues. Like the kid looked like bad news, but the girl just had to think with her emotions. Much like I am right now.
I mean I have morals, but is this really logical? I've hated Nikki Maxwell since middle school, yet here I am, saving her kid's behind because of a small loan of a million dollars.
No. I can do better. So much better.
Jessica: I had a few buddies work their magic. We'll have your issues fixed in no time. You owe me.
The little brat sure as hell does owe me. Her entire family owes me with their rubbing their perfect life in my family's face.
Nikki thinks revenge is juvenile. Well, boy might I change her mind when she sees this one.
Phase three is now complete, and already with 10 views.
