A brown haired princess lays on her best friends lap, sleeping soundly. She had puffy eyes and every once in a while, she sniffs.

The blonde haired noble girl ran her gentle fingers through the princess' hair as she slept. The blonde looked down at her best friend with sad eyes. She truly felt bad for all of the mean things that she heard being told to Alexa. You're truly useless. These people are making you weak. Rich nobles don't need a weak and useless girl like you in their lives. Mean and hate filled comments rang through her mind. She shook her head, trying to get rid of the mean words.

A bluenette and ravenette sat across from the two girls, giving their own feelings to the sleeping girl. Feelings of anger, sadness and some jealousy, but he will never admit it. Yes these two may be demons but they choose to feel and show emotions.

They were on their way to Buckingham Palace to fulfill the request of the Prince and princess; to drop Alexa off once they're done with their business. Ciel was a bit nervous since they were beginning to get close to the palace and he did not want the royals to see Alexa with red and puffy eyes. Hopefully they will not notice. He thought.

After a few moments, the carriage began to enter the gated territory of the queen's palace. Lizzie sat wide-eyed as she looked through the small window of the carriage.

Once the door was opened by one of the queen's guards, Ciel got out. Lizzie stayed in because she did not want to leave the princess' head on the seat. Sebastian, the one who is going to carry Alexa out, noticed and politely told Lizzie to step out so he could carry the princess out. She bowed her head in understanding and gently lifted Alexa's head enough for her to get out.

Sebastian then picked up the sleeping female and swiftly carried her out of the carriage. The quartet stepped into the castle with two butlers guiding them.

Lizzie looked amazed at her surroundings while Ciel was bored and still a bit nervous. Sebastian was holding the princess gently yet firmly so she won't fall and Alexa was snuggling into Sebby's chest, trying to find a source of warmth. Her turquoise eyes slowly fluttered open but not enough for the group to notice that she was awake.

~ Alexa's pov ~

Warm. I want warmth. It's too cold.

Bright light slowly filled my eyes as I opened them up. I kept my breathing even so Sebastian won't notice and set me down. To hell with it, I'm gonna pretend like I'm asleep. I closed my eyes again but listened to everything.

"-vi calm down. She will be here in a mome- What happened to her!?" The voice I recognized as my birth mother, screeched.

"Elaine! It is not proper to yell." My grandmother exclaimed.

"I apologize mother."

I peeked through my left eye. Ciel bowed and Lizzie curtsied. Sebastian just slightly bowed, still holding tightly onto me.

I looked around and noticed a stoic man who is around 5'2". Still taller than me but short. He had black hair and narrow eyes. His intimidating gaze was analyzing everyone else, but once his eyes set on me, his gaze softened and his thin lips curved into a soft smile.

"Your majesty. Lady Alexa is just fine. She just got tired during the travel here." Ciel's voice explained. I closed my eye again after that.

"Oh. I got scared for a moment there. I thought she was injured." My mother replied. "Levi this is Earl Ciel Phantomhive. The young man who saved Alexa."

I scrunched up my eyebrows slightly. Saved? The only thing he did was allow me to stay at his manor as long as I worked for it. And who's Levi?

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Earl. I've heard a lot about you from Elaine." A dark and smooth voice invaded my ears.

I've heard that voice before but from where. I need to look at his face but I don't want to tell them that I'm awake. Ugh life is so hard.

"Sebastian come with me. It must be tiring holding her for a long amount of time." A new male voice said. He seemed sophisticated and formal.

As I processed his words, my facial expression turned to one of hurt. I'm not that heavy. Right?

"No I'm fine." He replied.

"Please I insist. We don't want your arms to become sore now do we?"

"Well if you insist." I pouted slightly. A'hole!

~ 3rd person ~

Sebastian and the unknown male had a conversation about devil knows what, while Alexa was still pretending to be asleep. Every once in a while she would make a silly facial expression because of their conversation, but not enough for them to notice. I still can't believe they think I'm alseep. She mentally laughed at herself.

The Queen, princess, Levi, Ciel and Lizzie were being escorted to the drawing room by two butlers in white. Levi, the queen and the princess were having a normal conversation while Ciel and Lizzie looked around. Ciel had on a serious expression on his face as he studied the hallway that they were walking through. Lizzie was looking at all of the delicate paintings and vases that decorated the hall in astonishment.

She took in all of her surroundings, enjoying her first visit to the palace. She wanted to savor the the memories of coming to the palace. She has always dreamed of having a cup of tea and sweets with the queen. But she never believed that she would actually be here because of her best friend. She always thought that she would only be here because of Ciel's position as the queen's watch dog.

She thanks her best friend for this wonderful experience. Alexa is the reason for her finally being here. She smiled. Ciel glanced at his blonde fiancée. His lips curled up into a small smile, seeing his fiancée's beautiful smile.

Thank you Alexa. Was the only thing going through Lizzie's head while Ciel stared at her. Admiration flashed through his eyes. I'm happy that she's my fiancée.

Ciel grabbed Lizzie's hand, surprising the girl. He gently smiled at her, a light blush brushing his pale cheek. She smiled back at him a bright blush dusting her cheeks. They walked hand-in-hand as they followed the others.
