i rolled my eyes
but you didnt know my heart laughed.

you gave me a hug
and i ran away
but you didn't know i loved every second
and wished it would've lasted longer.
four months ago
you said goodbye
i smirked and reciprocated
but you didn't know i meant it all.
three months ago
you forgot about me
i calmly tried to remind you
but you didn't know i was terrified.
two months ago
you came back to me
i tried to seem nonchalant
but you didn't know how hard i'd worked to find you.
one month ago
you told me you loved me
i told you i loved you too
but you didn't know that you consumed my entire being.
today
you told me we weren't friends
I didn't reply but you didn't know i heard every word
even though I wished I didn't.
tomorrow
you'll ignore me as usual
i'll try to do the same to you
but you won't know ill be thinking of you.
next week
you'll forget about me
but i wont forget you
and you'll know how much you hurt me.
