as if you actually meant it.
"i love you"
three simple words with such a great meaning.
i remember the first time you said it,
we were in the back of my aunt's van
heading to a baseball game.
i despised baseball,
and you were in love with it.
i guess i should've known we weren't going to last
when you wouldn't hold my hand
or even acknowledge my existence
when we saw each other the day after.
