Summer Day 2

The next morning, I'm woken up by Kaylin rummaging through my closet. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" I ask, rubbing my eyes. "Picking out your outfit for today." She says plainly, not bothering to turn around to face me. I sit up and she throws a white Panic! At the Disco t-shirt and black leggings at me, and then throws a blue flannel at me. "You're wearing this." She grins and runs out leaving me to get changed. Of course she would choose my outfit.

I put everything on, and put my hair in a braid again, because it will be flying around everywhere when we get on the rides and pony tails look weird on me.

When I'm done I slip on my black converse and head to the kitchen where I see my friends waiting. I didn't bother with makeup just in case we go on any water rides.

We follow Kaylin and her parents out to the jeep, and take off towards Dollywood. "While you kids are out riding rides and everything, we'll be meeting Levi and Karen, and walking around with them if you guys need us." Kaylin's Dad says and we nod. Levi and Karen is Kaylin's aunt and uncle, they have a 10 year old and 14 she's the most annoying kid you will ever meet. I really hope they don't make her walk around with us. "Lexi isn't coming with us, right?" Kaylin asks. She can't stand her cousin either.

"Sadly, no. We're stuck with her." Kaylin's mom says and I sigh with relief. "Oh thank God." I mumble. Lexi hates upside down rides, so the only ride she actually rides is the Firechaser Express.

About half an hour later, we pull into the parking lot for Dollywood. "Are we getting those fast pass things?" Kaylin asks, and her parents hand her $100. "That should cover them, right?" She nods and we take off into the park.

"I hope Dolly Parton is secretly here, I just want to know if her boobs are real okay?" Elliot says and we laugh. "Same."

We head to the information center thing to get our fast passes. The line is about 15 people long, that's a thing right? 15 people long? Oh well.

Once we get our fast pass, we stand by that one place that smells really nice, like the sweet store or something. "What ride do you want to ride first?" Elliot asks, looking down at the little watch like thing. We put the three of the passes on one instead of three since Kaylin would probably get scheduled for the wrong ride. "How about the Firechaser, start small." Kaylin says and I nod. "Yeah that sounds good." Elliot presses a couple of buttons on the pass thing and we start walking to the ride.

"Guys, who's riding with who?" I ask. It seems we all forgot that most of the rides are two seater. "Dang. Um, we could take turns I guess?" Kaylin suggests and we nod. "Who's okay with riding with a total stranger?" Neither of us speak up. "Right, okay. Ugh, this is why we need more friends." Kaylin groans.

"I'll ride alone on this one." Elliot says, since he knows Kaylin and I both want the front. "I'll do it the next time." Kaylin says before I can say anything. "Then I guess I'm going alone after you." We nod, and once we make it up the stairs to ride the Firechaser Express, Elliot gets in the second cart and we get in the first. A little kid gets in next to Elliot, causing Kaylin and I to start laughing. "Good luck." I yell back to him, and then the ride takes off.

We start to go up the hill, and Kaylin and I start singing. "I BELIEVE I CAN FLY. I BELIEVE I CAN TOUCH THE SKY." We continue to scream until the ride is over, and then we get off. The poor kids behind us were terrified, and the worker gave us a creepy smile. Well, not creepy, but one like, 'if you don't get off this ride i will push you off'. One of those looks.
