Rikki POV
"Okay sweetie just follow me and we will take a blood sample from you to test" the lady had me sit down in a seat. She pulled out an arm rest for me and then she chose my left arm. She wiped my arm with a wet pad and tied an elastic around my arm.
I winced at the pin piercing my vein.
"Okay we are done." She tied a bandage on my arm and I got up to leave.
My dad was in the waiting room.
"Did it go well?" asked my dad.
"Yes", I rubbed my stomach. I hope so I whispered.
After school I grabbed a pregnancy test.
I was pretty sure that I was already pregnant but it would mean I was almost 6 week pregnant. I thought that it would be a good idea to check in the bathroom.
My dad didn't understand why I went to the doctor at all. I put the test in my pocket of my khaki shorts and hurried past my locker to the bathroom.
I ran into someone on my way.
I fell to the floor. The body was solid.
I looked up and saw that it was Mateo.
"Are you okay?" he helped me up.
He smiled at me then glanced near my feet.
"I think you dropped something." He bent down and picked up my test.
Oh no...it must have dropped out of my pocket when he bumped into me.
I didn't really look at it he just handed it to me.
"Sorry" I eventually said turning red.
This was literally the worst thing that could have ever happened.
"I have to go" I watched his facial expressions.
"Okay" he nodded. Surprisingly his face was still tranquil but his smile was gone.
I brushed past him and went into the bathroom. I tested myself in the stall.
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. Counted to three in my head.
Then opened my eyes and looked at the test.
Pregnant
My heart sank...what was I going to do?
So many thoughts raced through my mind.
Was I going to keep it? Abortion? Whose was it? How am I going to tell my dad?
A locker door slammed, I snapped out of it.
I gasped.
I wrapped it in tissue paper and put it in the toiletry bin next to me.
I waited until the person left then I left the bathroom myself.

Rikki POV
I looked in the mirror in my room and sized up my stomach.
My stomach hadn't gotten noticeably large but as long and the baby news didn't spread I think I would be okay.
Finals were coming up and I was freaking out about it because I just was over my head in stress.
My phone buzzed I walked over to my table it was from Zane. I would have to tell him sooner or later but now wasn't a good time. I wasn't ready yet.
Where have you been? Why have you been avoiding me?
I gulped.
I put my phone on silent and ignored the messages.
I would have to start wearing baggier clothes and I would need new clothes!!
I would have to use my year savings..people would also be asking questions. I can't ask my dad for money either.
Why's this so complicated?
There was a knock on my door.
"Who is it?" I walked over to the door waiting for a response.
"Its Bella! Zane had me come over to check on you he's worried of you. Will you please let me in?" Bella knocked again more urgently.
I didn't say anything but I opened the door slightly.
When Bella saw my face her face dropped.
"Oh my gosh Rikki are you okay?" she pushed the door open and closed the door behind her. I just stared at her with a sad expression.
"Rikki what happened? You look worse than before. If that's even possible." She sat next to me on the bed.
She rubbed my back. I looked down.
"What is it?" she looked me deeply in the eye.
I finally spoke "Nothing I just figured out something for certain today."
"What? What Rikki?" I could sense her voice rising.
When I didn't answer she knew the answer.
"Oh Rikki your-your not-your-oh my god" she gave me a careful hug. "I''m so sorry. " She pulled back. "But don't worry we will all be here for you. Trust me" she took my hands in hers.
"It's alright" I said close to tears.

Rikki POV
I was in tears sitting in the bathroom. I just couldn't do it anymore. I wanted to see if this would help.
I drew in a breath and bit my lip.
The blade got closer to my skin and soon blood dripped from my skin, as the blade sliced deeper and deeper.
I closed my eyes and let the sweet pain overcome my body.
