Cleo POV
I walked up the beach
The boys had already left for the night they invited me to go to a drinking bar. I had nicely said no to them.
I had also told them that i couldnt talk to them anymore.
I really wanted to talk to Emma Rikki and Bella about this but i couldnt. I didnt really have any other friends now that i think of it. Well...except for Lewis. But he was also confusing me.
And my heart...
I combed my hand through my hair.
i saw this light near the other end of the beach.
Where the rocks are....?
I looked around it was getting dark and i didnt see anyone else on the beach.
Still i was curious about the light.
I hurried to a jog scared that it might go away
I slowly came closer to it and i made out a figure...it was a man?
"He-llo" i said quietly.
The man looked up and i saw that it was actually a boy my age i think....He was wearing a rubber water suite.
"Well hello" he smiled as he looked up then he went on to using his big net trying to catch something.
"What-what are you doing?" i asked shaking.
"I am a biologist and im doing my job."
"Which is?" i asked getting more comfortable.
"Just ya know looking for anything new and unknown."
I nodded.
"And what would a pretty sight like you be doing at this time of night?" he asked stopping to sit on a rock studying me.
"I was just out for a evening walk. I do it a lot." i lied.
"Right. Well i was just going." he took off his hat and stepped out of his suite to reveal a tight white shirt and jeans.
He had black hair that was messy. And the purest green eyes. He also had freckles that made him even cuter.
I couldnt help but stare. It was weird i had never felt this way before...not even with Lewis.
"What?" he asked laughing. He turned to grab his stuff and hesitated.
He swung around to meet my eyes "Would you mind if i walked with you?"
"I-Uh that no i wouldnt" i clasped my hands together.
He reminded me of someone but i couldnt yet figure it out.
"So how long have you lived here" he asked.
"Um my whole life. Its a wonderful place." i added.
"Ya." he stopped looking over me then looked back at me.
"What?" he dropped his stuff and grabbed my shoulders turning my back to the ocean.
"Close you're eyes." he smiled.
"Why?" i said smiling back curious.
"Trust me" he nodded.
"Fine but im putting you as responsible" i joked.
"Im all for that" he said wittly.
I closed my eyes.
He turned me around.
