Rikki POV
Ive still been wondering what Zane and my father have been saying. It has confused me over and over again...because neither one of them have said anything since....
But i guess that's just how it is...right?
People keep secrets and they dont tell anyone because it was "a promise" and promises are not to be broken.
But still i hadnt thought to think about what they were talking about. Only because something happened to me in the woods. That very day that had been haunting me forever...and ever. And i had the courage to tell Emma.
And Emma has the courage to say that i have to tell someone and if i dont tell someone then she will.
She has the courage to watch out for me and to be the kind one that isnt afraid to say something so out of the ordinary. The thing is...what will they do about it. Sure they will try and figure out who did it. But what if the person they find will say that they know that im also a mermaid.
Will the police believe the guy or not?
Will they think that the guy is just getting out of what he did to me?
Or will they believe him?
Probably they wont right?
But Emma wants to tell the other girls Cleo and Bella before they make this big decision.
And im not sure i want them to know.

Emma POV
"You have to be tested...Rikki you know that it is possible. Espically...but that may not be the biggest of our problems. If he does know your a mermaid...then he might tell other people."
"I am sorry but i dont want the other girls to know what happened to me. Espically if the boys find out. OMG and Zane. I dont want him to know. He will be all over me. Espically if im pregnant."
Emma's eyes welled up with tears.
"OMG i am soo sorry" she hugged me and luckily no one else was in the bathroom.
She quickly helped me clean up and we left the bathroom.
"What are we saying to the other girls? Are we telling them?" i asked Rikki.
"Do we have to?" asked Rikki.
"Not unless you want to but i think it would best if they knew...i dont think they would tell anyone. But are you gonna take a test?" i asked as thoughts swirled around in my head.
"I will take a test but" she stopped walking. "I am not gonna say anything to my dad."
I nodded. I was trying really hard not to freak out espically for Rikki. This is one of the few times i have seen her calm and keeping her anger inside.
"Hey guys! Rikki!!! Where have you been? We've been looking everywhere for you!" Cleo comes running at us. Hugging Rikki.
"Whats wrong Rikki?" Bella looks concerned.
"I have to tell you guys something" Rikki says quietly...
