Cleo POV
I looked at Emma she looked at me.
"What do you have?" i asked.
"Well, as you know i went away with my family to Scottland to see family on my dads side and-"
"Just skip to the point!" i demanded.
Charlotte pretended to look hurt but really i could tell she enjoyed it.
"Anyway i realized that i had Lewis's engineering jacket."
"His what?" asked Bella confused.
"Engineer jacket? You know the one that he got from the scienctists that gave him the course in biology?" beamed Charlotte smiling.
"Remember Bella?" i said forcing a smile and a look that meant go with it.
"Oh right ya those people..."
"Right so here it is" Charlotte held out a jacket she had gotten from her messenger bag.
"Thanks we'll make sure to give it to him" i assured.
"Great see you later..." before she had even taken 3 steps away she turned back.
"But uh would you guys know where i could find Lewis by any chance?"
Bella and Emma looked at me.
"He's uh" right on time the boys walked into the smoothie shop.
".....right behind you" finished Emma.
Charlotte spun around.
"Lewis" she called out to get his attention.
She ran to him and hugged him. He looked at me apologetically and surprised.
He patted her back and Charlotte kissed his cheek.
I looked away disgusted.
"Hi Charlotte when did you get back?" questioned Lewis with little ethuasiasm.
"Oh actually just this morning. But i knew i'd find you here." she said with a smile.
"I always find you here with...Cleo..." she looked over at me.
"But anyway would you like to got to the beach. I reckon if we leave now we can still make it with a few hours of light left" Charlotte said all excited.
"Uh Charlotte could i talk to you for a minute?" Lewis looked at me.
I raised my eye brows.
"Sure but make it fast." Charlotte didnt get the hint.
They walked outside.
"Dont worry Cleo. Lewis will tell Charlotte that hes not interested." assured Emma.
I nodded.
"Ya he loves you he realized he still did after Charlotte went to Scottland." added Bella smiling.
Zane and Will were talking at another table.
Emmas phone went off.
"Oh look its Ash uh um im gonna take this." She stood up and started to walk away then turned. With her phone up to her ear she whispered "trust me Lewis knows how to do the right thing" she winked then walked out.
I bite my lip.
Bella moved over next to me and rubbed my hands.
"Itll be fine."
The beads jingled i looked up from my lap and i saw Lewis. He was looking at me. Charlotte wasnt behind him.
"Where did Charlotte go?" wondered Bella.
"She left after i told her that i already had a girlfriend." he answered casually.
"What do you mean?" i asked him curious.
"She asked who it was and i said it was Cleo and she stormed off and i said can we still be friends and she said that simply couldnt do that." Lewis started laughing.
We all did.
I realized everyone in the cafe was laughing.
For once that day i felt better.
Aww thanks soo much Lewis. He always does it, hes always there for me. In all my times of need and i just love him so much. Life wasnt for once complicated.
I want this moment to last forever. <3
