Cleo POV
“I don’t know I can’t remember anything!” I started to look around.
Lewis walked in.
Charlotte following.
“Hey guys what’s up?” he asked.
“Cleo was-“ Emma stopped when she saw Charlotte.
Lewis looked behind him to Charlotte.
“Hey Charlotte can I just have a minute?” Lewis asked.
“Ok” she patted his back and then walked away looking back.
“What happened?” asked Lewis.
“We don’t know but Cleo like totally spaced out and she started getting attracted to water or something” started Bella.
“That’s weird…” Lewis looked me over.
“You look normal and I don’t see anything weird…how did she stop?” asked Lewis.
“I don’t know I guess when she was hot…she took off her sweater and then…maybe she was overheating and wanted water?” Rikki trailed off.
“I don’t know she doesn’t even feel that hot” Bella checked my forehead.
“I just I- here why don’t we just wait and see what happens.” Lewis sat down.
I we all sat down and then they started watching me.
“Stop it you guys.” I started laughing.

I checked my phone James had texted me.
I was walking along the beach hoping that maybe James would pop up somewhere.
I read the message:
Hey I just want to say sorry
for having you try the perfume
and I wanna make it up to you
meet me at the beach @7
I looked at the time it was almost 7
Where was he?
I saw a light at the rocks in the cave…was that him?
I smiled and hurried up. I was wearing one of my favorite silky sun dresses.
And carrying my tan sandals. But I guess this would have to do. My hair was free waving in the wind but that made it better right?
I smiled and thought of his pretty smile and eyes.
“What’s up Sunshine?” he was wearing khakis, and a plaid shirt unbuttoned with a white T and slip ons.
I smiled.
“I’m good how are you doing?” I asked.
“Good well better now” he smiled and then enclosed me in a hug.
I breathed in his smell.
“Hey you smell like the ocean. I thought you said you didn’t swim.” He raised his eye brow mischievously.
“Well ya know it’s just a-um. Perfume.” I thought of quickly.
“Ya okay I guess” I could tell he didn’t really believe me.
“Is there something that I can help you with?” he asked. “I feel like you are hiding something you know that I can help you and you can trust me.” He looked me in the eye holding my shoulders.
“I really wanna help you” he added when I didn’t answer.
“Its nothing really.” He let go a little hurt.
“Right well ok” he gazed off.
“Ok well come on in” I felt really bad.
I watched as he leaded me into a place with pizza.
There was also a water pitcher!
“Would you like some water?” he asked.
“NO that’s ok” I smiled and sat down a rock.
“Ok” he poured himself a glass.
We started talking for a while.
I walked around the cave eating piece of pizza studying some of the sparkly minerals.
He watched me.
“Here are you thirsty” he whirled around with the pitcher right into me!
I was again wet!
But if he saw me running into the water…he’d know that I could swim
“I’ve gotta go” I smiled and then ran out of the cave.
Just making the water diving in.
Luckily he didn’t see it when I ran into the water. So he didn’t see where I went.
