Cleo POV
i walked back to the juice cafe. I was about to cry.
I thought for once that everything was going to go well...but i was wrong...why did i ever think that my life was going to be easy. I mean i am a freakin MERMAID for crying aloud.
I cant have a normal life EVER!
I walked through the beads and saw Rikki talking to Zane. And Emma was serving customers and Bella singing.
See they were all smiling happy
But how come i am not?
Whatever ill just get a smoothie or juice to drown my sorrows.
"Hi Emma" i said sitting down.
"Can i have a mango banana smoothie please" i tried to smile but it was a weak effort.
She wrote it down without looking at me.
"Cleo whats wrong? What did Lewis do this time?" she sat down across from me in the booth.
"Well it seems that Lewis isnt really crazy about the idea of me being closer to him."
"We all know that boys can be really stupid. And Lewis isnt really that kind of type hes more of a-a bestfriend type." she frowned.
"Ya i guess." she patted my hand and got up.
A stared at the wall until my smoothie came.
"I made it with extra fruit just like you like" Emma winked "free of charge."
I got up from the booth and over to the bar where Rikki was working.
"Whats up" said Rikki smiling.
"Nothing good and Lewis has done it again." I sulked.
"Whats up guys" Bella walked over from finishing her song.
"Nothing good" i repeated head down.
"What did he DO?!" asked Rikki again wiping down the counter.
Bella leaned on the counter.
"He doesnt want me to be his girlfriend because he doesnt feel that he likes me more." i crossed my arms.
"Well you can still be friends right?" asked Bella.
"Yes but he lied to Charlotte saying that he didnt like either of us but he told me i was his girlfriend. So its really messed up and frankly im mad so..." i cocked my head.
"Well Lewis screwed up but its not his fault he needs time and so do you." pointed out Rikki.
"Hmmmmm" i added.
"Anyway maybe you should....i dont know but give it time itll resolve." tried Rikki.
"Ya i agree with Rikki i think that by time itll all make more sense." Bella agreed.
"But whatever happens we'll be right here for you" Bella and Rikki went back to what they were doing.

I was back at my house and i was getting bored. I really needed a job.
But where?
I ran downstairs Dad was fishing and Kim was with friends and Sam was out at her job.
I looked through the kitchen papers.
No newspapers.
I looked through the coffee table in the living room.
And i saw one.
I looked through the jobs nothing really appealed to me.
O well but maybe a cashier would work.
Something that hadnt to do with water.
So cashier probably the best because waiters have to carry drinks ect.
I smiled
Yes thisll get my mind off things.
