It had been a few days after the Ushio incident. I'm surprised Joey nor Tristan didn't asked any questions, but I honestly didn't worry about it too much. Within those few days, both Yugi and I had become friends with Joey, Tristan, Téa, and Miho. Téa wasn't too bad, but there was only so much of her I could take. She would give me these strange looks when I would be around Yugi... which was all the time. And she barely ever made an effort to talk to me. However, considering that Yugi considered her a close friend, I made the effort to try and get to know her better. If I absolutely had to hang out with a girl, it was Miho. Though I couldn't stand her for very long either... she was a blonde stuck in a soft purple hair girl's body. I could only take her bluntness and cluelessness for so long. However, I got along great with Joey. He was beginning to act as an older brother figure, as we would have an act of teasing each other to get on each other's nerves for the heck of it.

I hadn't seen Yami sense that night though. I was beginning to worry about him. I was currently making lunch for Yugi, Joey and I... I had promised Joey a lunch today sense I had accidently thrown him over my shoulder the other day. It was an accident because I didn't know it was Joey.

Joey was going to tell me that he, Tristan, and Yugi had decided to go to the arcade after school. Sense the incident with Ushio, I had been a bit jumpy. Once Joey had put his hand on my shoulder, without warning, I let loose a shriek, grabbed Joey's arm, and literally threw him over my shoulder and knocked him on the head pretty hard. I scared Tristan and Yugi pretty bad once they knew, I knew self defense. Yugi understood it better than anyone sense he was the only one out of my friends that knew I was a royal princess.

"What?! You've really completed the Millennium Puzzle?" Grandpa asked Yugi, pulling me out of my flash back. Grandpa had long finished his breakfast as Yugi was still eating his, not really paying much attention to him. "Unbelievable! Sense it was discovered this century, not one person has been able to solve it," Grandpa ranted before putting a hand to Yugi's head, finally catching his grandson's attention. "Gramps?" Yugi asked, a bit surprised. "Have you changed at all? Like you're suddenly smarter or stronger?" Grandpa asked. Yugi just gave a confused look, "Nope... why?" I giggled to myself as I caught a glimpse of the puzzle shimmer, knowing well it was Yami's doing.

I figured the shimmering of the puzzle while it was completely still was Yami's way of communicating with me. I sometimes caught a glimpse of his face, but it was only for a split second. The slower the shimmer, meant Yami wasn't too happy. A regular pace shimmer meant that he was content or listening. A fast shimmer usually meant that he was giving off a smirk of approval or he was amused, as now for instance.

"Look, the glyphs carved in the box read out, "Thou who completes me will receive my dark knowledge and power"," Grandpa recited. "Just like you said, Chloe!" Yugi beamed. I pouted at him for a second, "I am Egyptian, Yugi." But at that moment, I caught the puzzle shimmer somewhere between slow and regular... I was confused, but turned back to my cooking. Yugi laughed to himself, "I know, I know," then turned back to his Grandpa with a smiled, "But my wish came true! I made some friends!" "Friends?" Grandpa repeated. I packed up our lunches as I walked over to Yugi handing him his and placing my hand on my hips, "Yep, and one of them feeds him every day." Yugi smile widened, "You were my first friend, Chloe, even before my wish came true." I just smiled, "And you were mine."

Class had passed quickly for the day, and Yugi and I were packing up. Now that we had made friends, everyone made an effort to do something together after school. "All done!~" Joey sang to himself stretching. Once all packed up we headed over to Joey, who had caught our attention, "Hey, Yugi, Chloe, where should we go on the way home?" "Why don't we go to the newly opened Burger World?" Yugi suggested. I giggled a bit.
