~Chloe's POV~

Grandpa had answered my many questions as I learned about Yugi's school system and how the curriculum was taught. I was excited to say the least. "Do you think I could attend school too, Grandpa? I've always wondered what it's like," I voiced. "You're not going anywhere until we can figure out a good way to keep you hidden within plain sight," He protested, while cleaning around the shop. It was still too early for customers, as I sat behind the register with my arms crossed, and had my cheeks puffed with my lips in a pout. But, he was right... I would stick out like a sore thumb: Tanned skin, light long red hair with signature blonde streaks, and big blue eyes.

The main problem was my skin color. I was the most sun kissed person within all of Japan! It's not like I could just change my skin color! I paused. Change my skin color? I thought for a moment more before a smirk grew on my face, "Hey, Grandpa! If I can find a way to hide in plain sight, then can I go to school with Yugi?" He shrugged, "I'm not too sure what you can exactly do on the matter, my dear. But if you have an idea, then by all means try it. I have to approve of it though." With that I jumped out of my seat and made a v-line to mine and Yugi's bathroom... A bit of magic couldn't hurt, right?

~Yugi's POV~

It had been a long morning of lectures and lessons. I was mainly worried about Chloe and how she was fairing back at home. It was now afternoon break as I was engrossed with creating a tower of cards. I had just placed the ace of hearts and clubs together on the top as they came to a point when somebody called my name. At that moment my tower fell but I turned back to one of my classmates I didn't really know. "Don't just stay in here and play by yourself. Why don't you come and play some basketball with us sometime?" He asked, spinning the ball on his finger. "I'm fine," casting a small sigh and a glance down to my cards, "the team I'd join would lose anyway..." The guy stared at me before mumbling, "Oh, that's true." My feeling were crushed again, but I didn't really mind.

Once he was gone and the classroom was emptied, I gathered my cards together. I wish I could play games with everyone sometimes. I always bring a lot of games to school too... I snapped out of my thoughts when I remembered what I had brought to school today. "That's right! What if I finish that today?" I was talking to no one in particular, I was just excited. Once I learned Chloe had come from Egypt, I was all too excited to continue my work on my treasure. "I've always got it with me. It's my treasure," still talking to just myself, "In this box, is my treasure, but it's a complete secret. So here's the quiz... the treasure in this box is something you can see, but you've never seen before. So, what is it? The answer is..." I trailed off as I picked it up. But before I could open my box a hand snatched it away from me.

I blinked for a second before I turned to find who had taken my treasure, "Joey?" He looked at the box uninterested as he spoke up without turning to me, "Yugi, why are you talking to yourself?" I had honestly thought I was alone. "Can see but can't see, saying a bunch of stuff I don't get." I became frantic, "Please return that!" I got up to get it back but he held the box above his head, making me jump for it, "Return..." but at that moment he tossed my box, jumped over a few desk and caught it again. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, when I knew it wasn't going to fall to the ground. "Timidly treasuring this box... You know, Yugi... That's the part about you that really pisses me off," He began as he turned to me as I had made it to stand in front of him, "Let me coach you into being more of a man! Come on, you want this box back right? If so, then come at me full force!" "I..." I snapped, "I hate fighting and violence!!"

"Gah!" Joey covered his ears, one with the box covering his ear, but continued after my outburst, "You got no guts, but you got a loud voice!" "Just give me that box back," I pleaded. "Yeah! Stop it, Joey." A different voice interrupted as we both turned to the new person in the room. "Oh?! You want something, first year, student president reject, clean up member, Tristan?" Joey mocked greeting. The brunette got frustrated and went off, "I'm not a cleanup member! I'm a beautification club member!" Joey covered his ear closest to Tristan, replying with, "You're voice is loud too!" Tristan then smirked to himself, not really taking Joey's insult to heart, "Oh, it's true I wasn't elected as student president, but I'm reborn as a great man, as a beautification club member..."
