The next month flew by as we had our fair share of dangers and threats. Not even two days after the Digital Pet showdown with Haiyama, Seto had sent a freak-a-zoid man that had a freaky obsession with dolls to duel Yugi... Yami whooped his ass and Seto was pissed. Three days later, Joey had missed school to join a yo-yo gang. Little did we know that it was to keep us safe. Although, I did learn Yami was much more clever than he looked by putting holes in a tin roof with a yo-yo, and led his opponents into the weak spot so they could fall through. I had also mentioned to Joey that, 'Yugi had never looked hotter than taking out a ton of jerks while stringing a yo-yo.' I had meant it as a joke, considering it was Yami instead of Yugi, but Joey seemed to have taken it seriously and has yet to take it away from over my head.

A week later, a girl from our class had come to Téa, Miho, and I and confessed to liking Joey. With a bit of Yugi and Grandpa's help, she wrote a hidden letter of a puzzle to tell Joey how she felt, leaving it in the blonde's desk the next day. However, our prissy teacher thought it would be funny to take the gift from Joey and piece it together for the entire class... of course, being nice, I took the heat for it, saying that I had written it. Téa had also stood up for me as I was about to be expelled and got into trouble with me. Téa had to petition to get the rules changed as I was expelled until further notice. Yugi, and Yami, were not happy with this and apparently did something about it... a Yami no Game no doubt. A day later, Yugi had introduced me to one of his 'friends' that went to college and was obsessed with Capsule Monsters... and Miho. He was so obsessed with Miho that he wanted to make her into a life size Capsule Monster Princess... Yeah, that one took me awhile to get over as Yami beat him at his own game.

Seto had then sent another one of his lackeys, another week later, to deal with Yugi... this one being extremely lucky but a grade-A jerk. He flirted with me constantly as I used either Joey or Yugi as a shield to hide behind. I didn't stay around the guy for too long, but his luck had run out after Yami had beaten him in a Yami no Game I wasn't aware of.

In our free week though, we had not so much as a drop of magic or an ounce of danger. I honestly couldn't have been more relaxed. Miho had won the Digital Pet contest and had gone to Australia with her mom... much to Tristan's dismay. Yugi and I spent our time helping with the shop or cleaning around the house. Of course, the first two weeks, after the Digital Pet showdown with Haiyama, I had spent in sweatpants and a hoodie, which caused Yugi to panic, thinking I was sick. He had also became very worried of my 'chest wound', as Grandpa put it, though he couldn't do anything about it. However, he did try and take over my chores, including the cooking... I fought him on that one and won.

We were now walking through the halls as lunch had started, but were pushed aside by girls of all ages to lead some strange looking boy through the hallway. "Kokurano is passing by, move out of the way!" They would yell. I stood off to the side with others, standing beside Yugi. He was chuckling at me while I was puffing out one of my cheeks mumbling something along the lines of, 'prissy bunch of girls snuffing up to a popular royal-wanna-be.' "What is this?" Joey demanded. "Something stupid," I hissed out to myself, as Yugi caught it still laughing lightly at me. "You don't know?" Téa asked, catching a glance at my face. "It's the recently-famous boy with supernatural powers," Miho replied. "Supernatural powers?" The boys repeated.

My face didn't change as my attitude towards the freaky psycho guy worsened. First he has the girls under his control treat him like a prince, and now has 'supernatural' powers like me? I wasn't buying this. Anyone who had powers like me kept them a secret for very good reason... the reason being so I wouldn't be tested on like a lab rat. I didn't believe this crap for a second.

"Yeah, he can see into the future and is pretty accurate from what they say," Téa reported. "Bull shit!" I hissed again as Yugi caught this, jumping a bit by my language. "Have you noticed that all the girls have vanished during lunch recently?" Miho continued, "They all go to see him so he can give them their fortunes." "He was also right about a recent fire at a student's home from class A. He became famous because of that," Téa added before turning to me, still noticing my face, "What's with the face, Chloe?" "I have a strong disbelief he can do that," I bluntly replied just as the creep walked by. Téa giggled a bit, "I don't believe it either. The future is what you make it."
