A day or so had passed sense we had gone to view the Egyptian exhibit at the museum. Surprisingly, to everyone else, Kanekura had fallen into unconsciousness. After Shadi had left saying, 'There are still things I have to do in this country', I figured he had already done some damage, and I had been plenty right. However, hours earlier, Grandpa had gone to see Professor Yoshibori, but upon arrival witnessed the man break and fall out of a window.

Once Grandpa had called from the hospital to let us know, Yugi called everyone up as we met in the waiting room, waiting to hear any news. The only issue for me was forgiving Shadi for this. I knew Yoshibori was a very kind man and respected the treasures in which he brought to light. If I could gather anything, Kanekura had made an illegal trip to the Valley of the Kings without my father's permission and Yoshibori lack of knowing on the matter. I would have to let Shadi know when I saw him next.

We had migrated to the hall, all waiting impatiently. Grandpa had snapped me out of my thoughts as he came out of Yoshibori's hospital room. "Grandpa?" Yugi asked, wanting to know how his grandpa's friend was. "His incident doesn't seem like it caused anything fatal." "Well, that's good," Téa breathed out a bit, talking more to herself than anyone else. "It's late, you all need to return home," Grandpa decided. "What about you, Grandpa?" Yugi asked, still worried. "I'm going to stay here with Yoshibori tonight," He replied, "You and Chloe need to go home. Take care of her, alright." Yugi just nodded.

We took our leave as we made our way out into the night. "What on earth is going on? Kanekura and the Professor were two of the people on the same excavation team," Téa thought aloud. "It's obviously the curse! The curse! It's from harvesting from someone's grave without permission!" Joey rambled. I blinked in surprise at how Joey was actually spot on about how they didn't have permission. There were such things a curses, but you would either have to touch the object with your bare hands, which no archeologist ever did, or actually have a live person with magic ability to cast it. "Miho is scared!" Miho made known. "Don't worry about anything, Miho. There's no way such thing like a curse exist," Tristan tried to comfort.

I stopped, feeling my necklace heat up under my long sleeve shirt. Shadi was nearby. "Even if such a curse existed, I'd risk my life to protect you," Tristan went on as the group carried on. I turned to find the man standing there I knew all too well. "Shadi, we need to talk," But before I could say anything more, he cut me off, "Forgive me, my Princess, you seem closest to both those boys." The next thing I knew, I was forced into my own mind and locked from the outside in.

At this I made a quick counter-spell, to let me have temporary control. Shadi seemed surprised at this, but I couldn't just stand here. I had to get back to the shop with Yugi. I turned and caught up quickly as I said nothing. Once I reached the group, everyone had split off to go their separate ways. "Are you alright, Chloe?" Yugi asked, taking notice of my weakened state. My magic fighting the Millennium Key's was sapping my strength quickly. I shook my head, "I'm just not feeling too well." Yugi stopped me as he then lifted me up onto his back, "You look like you're about to feint. I'll carry you home." I was going to protest, but Shadi was not being kind. With that I fell asleep.

I woke up in my mind room to find Shadi there waiting for me. "Daddy won't be pleased when he hears about this," I hissed. "Forgive me, but I must test these boys. You are the closest to them from what I can tell," Shadi simply replied. "Then I won't fight for the moment. You harm either of them and it's your head," I promised. Shadi didn't seem worried. He was daddy's most trusted Ishtar after all. But I was daddy's little girl. It was all going to come down to persuasion. "However," I spoke up, "You will use my excuses. I know what Yugi will or will not believe, so you will listen to me." Shadi nodded his head, "And what shall I tell him for you?" I clenched my teeth, not liking this one bit. "I'm not well, the excuse I gave to him a moment ago. But let my body rest for tonight, and let me have control when it wakes, I promise not to disturb Yugi nor the Puzzle. Let me get ready for the day and make his meals for him in peace. When he wakes up and comes down you may take over, saying I do not feel well. To this, Yugi will try and get me to stay home. Tell him I'm fine and I'll go to the nurse if I need to. Put my head down on my desk, don't even look around," I explained, "If anything comes up, I'll tell you how to act accordingly." "Deal," Shadi agreed.
