After our 'gourmet ' meal noah took my hand and led me outside into the crisp bright morning sun. It was so beautiful to see the first sun beams graze through the tips and edges of the trees surrounding my new home, with the birds starting their routine and all the forest animals getting to work i almost didnt want to leave. Almost... Lol... We left and walked the few miles to the road in a peaceful silence and noah occasionally finding a pretty flower, picking it and then giving it to me so i started to form a little bouquet." Ok noah you know the drill right? Run full speed down the road." He nods and takes off, i jump into the air and pick him up the same way i did before. Thank the great magic banana in the sky or whatever that i have a strong core because these boys are HEAVY! Taking noah high into the clouds so we wouldn't be seen i flew in the direction of the home base which would only take five minutes more or less to get too. We crested the clouds closest to the island and i dive bombed Noah gently on the soft sand at the beach, he landed surprisingly graceful and gave me a wave signalling i can land. The family i guess had saw us approaching and rushed out onto the sandy landscape. I spiraled low enough to just drop the last ten to fifteen feet and landed on my toes before tucking my wings into my back just in time too because Mr. Cupcake and boomer launched themselves at me causing me to fall back under all the fluff in a fit of giggles.
" Alright, alright pups off." Billy said as cupcake kept licking my face. The dogs ran off of me and began there high speed game of tag around the beach and billy reached an arm down to help me up. Dusting off i nodded a thanks " noah and i have gotten plenty of herbs that should help if anyone gets sick or injured" ami gasps and clasps her hands together " oh wonderful babies i will get some jars to keep them in and we can store them in the root cellar that mat built" i could sense mats pride and ego boost and nodded smiling. The family began to leave and as i took a step a searing pain erupted in my back causing me to scream in pain and drop to my knees in agony. A pair of arms encased around me and lifted me off the ground heading to the house in a frantic panic. I knew it was gabe by the mount of muscle the arms held and leaned into him hoping his cool skin could give a small temporary relief to the pain erupting from my back. Entering the house he placed me on the bed upstairs i rolled onto my stomach and pulled off my shirt leaving me in my bandages that just cover my chest. Ami approached me and gasped yet again." It looks like there is something under her skin" that was all i heard before i passed out due to the pain.
