"MOM! DAD!!" Bird yells as we approach camp in a disheveled mess. Once we enter base camp our parents were already there to meet up, dad runs up to me " what's either all the yellin' did y'all get a great catch?" He asks. Before he can say anything else I loosen some on my grip on the girl allowing for one of her wings to drop revealing her face, dads eyes widen and he takes a step back yelling "AMI! RAIN! CLEAR THE TABLE!" Before running inside with us in tow.
Once mom layed eyes on our injured angel she started tearing up for a second until her medic instinct kicks in and she asked bear " what happened to her?" Bear answered looking really guilty" well... I kinda just saw her wings and thought she was a big bird so i took a shot at her and thank god I missed because it hit her in the side " with that he pulls up the side of her shirt revealing a long toned stomach with several scars already and a bloodied wound in her left side. Mom gasps" all boys leave! Bird! Rain! Get me some alcohol, fresh cloths, the first aid kit and some tweezers we got to get the bullet out of her!". The girls ran and did what they were told and in seconds were back at the table with all of moms things; " bird disinfect the area, rain get the supplies in line she has already lost alot of blood." Mom orders, both girls reply with a quick " yes ma'am".

" One more stitch and she is closed up girls," Ami says tiredly, the girls start to hand her the wrappings and tape. After a another ten minutes of bandaging the wound Ami was sure that the girl would recover. And now that the havoc passed she could take a look at her, placing a hand gently on one wing it twitched then relaxed blaming itself under the kind mothers touch. " Gabey you can come in now, can you please bring her upstairs to your guy's room " he nods and easily lifts his injured angel ' no not mine she isn't mine gabe she'll probably hate you and bear for shooting her' gabey thought to himself as he climbed the stairs to the boys room and gently placed her on his bed because it was a bottom bunk. When he was about to rise and leave a hand held him to the bed, she wont let him go in her sleep, he was so warm and she loved warm things so in her unconscious state pulled the biggest of the browns down next to her and cuddled into him. He was astonished by the amount of strength this beautiful angel had in her unconscious state and since he couldn't get up because she wouldn't let him. He decided to lay next to her careful of her wound and hold her close to him until he finally drifted to much needed rest.
