Ami's pov
Ever since jesse came to me and told me about what she has to do i knew that the boys would freak out. Plus she said she would be leaving in the dark when everyone is asleep so that's only in a few hours. " Bam! Get our of our room! Jess is trying to teach us how to braid our hair" i guess bam walked into the girls room again, oh if only he learned to knock. Finally i finished making dinner and called for the pack to come down stairs where we had a lovely meal filled with love and laughing. It really warms my heart to see everyone like this, glancing at bill he smiles back knowing exactly what i'm thinking as we link hands under the table and continue our meal. Once dinner had finished everyone washed their own plates and left to their perspective rooms, jess following the boys into their room where laughing and crashing could be heard throughout the house.
* next morning*
Gabe and bear walked into the house with tear stained faces " mom jess left last night" bear followed " she didnt say good bye". I open my arms to my sons and let them rest their heads on my shoulder like they did when they could both still fit on my lap and held them as bear whimpered and shook and gabe silently hiccuped. " You know she wouldnt have left without a solid reason boys you should trust that she will be back" gabe sniffles but states " why wouldnt she let us protect her, after last night i thought we would never be seperated" i pat his back " what happened last night dear?" I asked quietly but bear followed with an answer " we started dating last night"
I gasped " both of you?" They nod into my shoulders " she said that her wolf dna allowed her to have two at once because her dna has two different species so she can have one mate for each" gabe said then stands up with bear who spoke next " she gave us these" they both turn their necks to the side to reveal a mark one with the outline of a bird that looks like the 'w' ones when they were kids on bear, and a thin cresent on gabe. My eyes widen in shock but i end up smiling because that means that they truly love one another." Don't worry loves she will be back and plus she left boomer here so you know she will return" speaking  of the fluffy devil the small pup decided to launch itself at gabe and attack him in licks with mr. Cupcake not two far behind to jump on bear.the boys smiled and left to think in their perspective houses.

Later that night i awoke to a pecking sound coming from the window, billy was snoring so loudly it was no wonder that he didn't hear it. Throwing back the sheets i rise and start walking to the window to let the poor mysterious thing in. It was perched on the window sill when i opened the windows then flew to be perched on my finger on its leg i saw a small note tied to it, once i undid the string it flew back to sit at the window. " To: Ami From: J"
" Inclosed is a message with a simple code"
I started unraveling the paper to reveal a full piece of paper with a script like calligraphy sprawled across the page it read,

When i turned to the light the note caught in the mirrors reflection and became clear it read

ami,
i beseech you,
 a tropical storm has left me stranded here until it passes, i hope i can get out in time before the scientists get here. i am on a island off of Thailand,i have trained this small bird to deliver my notes to you so that you know i am alright. please don't tell the boys that i have contacted you i fear that they would try to find me. the birds name is kale by the way  he is small enough to get passed nearly any military or government craft. please make sure the boys know i love them, i'm sure you've seen my marks on then by now, it shows that i tied my soul to them, when i return i will explain everything that you want me to. tell boomer to be a good boy.
