Bear grasps my hand tighter as we climb the ladder to his now finished tree house, Gabe decided to stay with their mother and check out the twins. '' why did you leave without telling us?'' bear asks in a quiet voice as we sit on some blankets that are on the floor for padding. I took a deep breath and spoke '' your mother had pulled a tracking device that was implanted in me when I was a child out of me and I couldn't risk putting your family in danger so I fled I had to throw them off track and away from here''. he turns to look at me more, I flew nearly across the world and threw it into a place where I doubt they will be able to find it again''. He nods for me to continue,'' I had some trouble getting away from there do to the natives and ended up on my brothers land where I adopted the twins. from there we headed straight here as safely as we could  due to the babies and now here we are". I finished and bear launched into a hug before speaking '' you got one thing wrong, it isn't my family its our family you've earned your place here as much as anyone in the short time you've been here since I shot you, sorry about that again. and i'm so happy that your back home safe and the twins are beautiful, they are going to make a perfect addition to the family.'' I smile as my heart swells hearing this from bear before tackling him once again in a hug. He held me delightfully sighing but as i tried to get up my wings went limp and their dead weight forced me back onto him.'' sorry bear my wings must be tired form the journey'' i say sheepishly, he laughs and holds me tighter, i started to fall asleep in his warmth until i felt droplets of water fall onto my cheeks. Curiously looking up to check if it was raining and bear forgot to patch a leak but instead met with the watery eyes of one of the men that i love. Cupping his cheek i stared into those beautiful eyes '' honey whats wrong?'' i say quietly not breaking eye contact, he pulls me closer laying my head on his chest and laying on the floor so i'm now laying across his chest when he speaks'' i was so scared that you had left for good, that you didn't love us any more and we wouldn't be able to find you.  But i was ready to search the world for you, every content and corner until i found you and brought you back here, back to your home. You belong here with us surrounded in love and not flying to random places around the world in constant fear of being found and taken. I promise you.....              

i promise you right now in the home that i build with my bare hands above our family and our new babies that i will do my best to be their dad and raise them as my own, and if the day comes that they do come for you i will fight with every thing i have. every fiber of my being that this family and i will keep you safe no matter what.'' by the time he was done with his speech i was in tears, he used the pad of his thumb to wipe a stray tear away. Instinctively i leaned into his hand, and he slowly leans in and our lips meet; a supernova of passion erupted and he deepened the kiss lifting my chin and igniting a fire within, we spent the rest of the night in heated passion that was long over due and very much needed.
