After a long discussion we finally got the names for the twins.
Meet Rafael ( rafe) stone - blue eyed boy
Michael Anthony - green eyed boy (mikey, tony).
David sealed the envelopes in his office before handing them back to me and had the long alpha talk with his beta before deciding to leave that night in secret, so now here we are on the balcony in his office. Im taking the twins in slings one on my back and front because Dave will be shifting and running. We set a destination to stop and take a break for the twins and now its finally time to go, i have no idea how the babies will do with heights. David gave me a nod and jumped off the balcony spinning and shifting into his massive over sized wolf then taking off into the woods, apparently due to being part avian as well he gained speed and is able to cross short bodies of water for a small period of time. I launched off the railing carefully and shot into the air so that i wouldn't startle the kids.
They didn't cry once on the way to the first stop. Maybe whimpered when i went in for a landing in a field but other than that they slept the whole time. The second i landed David stalked out of the woods and un-clipped the baby from my back before going into my bag and getting the small bottles one for each baby. We spent maybe half an hour feeding, burping, and changing them before re strapping and walking towards the cliff near by, my brother went the opposite direction and i free fell off the cliff. The twins oddly loved the feeling of the wind as we fell then quieted up as i gained air into the clouds.
~ we stopped four more times before finally arriving at Hoonah and walking to my cabin in the woods ~
" This place was abandoned?" David asked and i just nodded before unlocking the door and stepping inside. Once inside we took two draws from a dresser and filled them with blankets to make make shift cribs for the boys and they fell asleep easily. Dave and i sprawled on the couch eating the food that i packed and just discussing life and everything that has happened. The one thing going through my mind more than anything is seeing my loves soon, it hurts so much to be away from them.
