Maya
I wanted to feel the wave of emotions take over me again, so I kissed Riley.
Again.
She smiled, placing a hand on mine.
"Maya, I'm so happy now." She said with joy.
I smiled along with her.
"Me too, sunshine!" I said, laughing.
She slowly looked from my hands to my eyes.
"I've noticed that things weren't working out with Lucas because of you, it's been you all this time, Maya, you're the one I've always loved."
I smiled at Riley's speech, squeezing her hand.
"Riles, thank you."
Her expression changed from happy to confused.
"For what?" She asked.
"For you."
She smiled, leaned in, and gave me a peck on the lips.
Chills of joy ran up my spine as I leaned into Riley's arms, closing my eyes as she hummed a beautiful melody
