Maya slid Riley's window open, silently jumping through, seeing that Riley was sleeping.
She lay down next to Riley, hugging her from behind.
Riley sleepily turned, smiling at the blonde, seeming to be half asleep.
"Maya..." She swooned.
Maya smiled and traced her finger along Riley's face.
She gently pecked Riley's lips.
"Oh Riley, my sunshine, you're the cutest thing." Maya cooed.
The brunette giggled, soon sitting up.
Maya sat up as well, staring into the bubbly girl's eyes.
"Are we... Something?" Riley asked, referring to her and the blonde's relationship.
Maya placed her hand on Riley's face.
"Don't worry about it." She told the brunette, who was now staring at the blonde's lips.
Maya noticed Riley's glance and smiled.
She leaned in and pressed her lips against Riley's, her fingers tangled in her brown hair.
Riley intertwined her fingers with Maya's, her lips against Maya's, which were swaying along with hers.

While the two girls were distracted, they didn't seem to hear the door open.
Topanga came in to check on Riley, but came in to an unexpected scene.
"Ri-" Topanga began.
The two girls parted from their kiss, their eyes wide.
Topanga smiled and walked away to tell the others.
Riley's lips parted, but before she could say anything, her mother was gone.
The two best friends stared at each other, Maya's expression soon changing into a hopeful smile.

"Cory, we've got something going on," Topanga stated.
Cory turned to face her.
"Sorry, peach, I'm grading." He responded.
Topanga looked to the hallway that led to Riley's room, then back to her husband.
"Oh, you're gonna want to see this one." Topanga assured.
Cory's eyes widened.
"What? Is there a boy? I'm coming Riley!" He exclaimed, running to his daughter's room.
Auggie came from his room, rubbing his eyes.
"What is it?" The boy complained.
"Just, c'mon, Auggie" Topanga hurried.
Topanga got to Riley's room, noticing Cory's confused face.
"What's the problem?" Cory questioned.
Topanga took a quick glance at her daughter.
"I walked in on them..."
She glanced at the two girls to gain permission.
Riley nodded while Maya smiled.
"I saw them kissing." Topanga stated.
Cory's jaw dropped.
"What?" He exclaimed.
Topanga laughed.
"How did you not see this coming?" She questioned.
"I-I don't know, maybe because she kept complaining about boys and that threw me off!" He explained.
"I can explain, dad!" Riley stated, squeezing Maya's hand.
Cory laughed.
"No, no, Riley. I'm happy for you. Don't act like I'm not." He assured.
Riley smiled.
"I still want to explain it, though." She said.
Cory nodded while Topanga was leaning on the door with a calming smile.
"The note was what caused it." Riley explained.
Riley began with what was on the note, Maya's distance, Angelique, and the kiss.
They were all so accepting, even Auggie.

What a relief
