Chapter 7

"Ikaw?!"

Kulang na lang lumubog ako sa kinauupuan ko! Bakit siya pa?! Bakit sa milyon-milyon na lalaki sa Pilipinas, siya pa?! May galit ba sa akin ang Diyos kaya siya pa ang kailangan kong makita?!

"Ako?" sabi niya habang nakaturo sa sarili niya at parang nagtataka pa.

"Oo! Di ba ikaw yung lalaki sa salon kahapon?" I said, running out of breath. Parang gusto ko na lang tumakbo dahil sa kahihiyan!

Oh, Lord! What have I done to deserve this?

Bigla namang naglighten up yung mukha niya. Mukhang naalala niya yung kahihiyan ko kahapon! Ugh! 

"Ikaw yung babaeng madaldal na hindi marunong humalik?"

"Aba't--"

"Ikaw ba yung tumawag kay Andy?"

"Andy? Sino yun?"

"GKI? Stupid," sabi niya.

Inglisero ang mokong. In fairness, bagay sa kanya! Ang puti niya, nakakainggit!

"Ah. So, hindi ikaw yung nakausap ko kahapon?"

"Di ba sinabi ko ng si Andy yung nakausap mo? Kailangan pa bang ulitin?" he said. Ang impatient niya! Ni wala pang dalawang minuto kaming nag-uusap pero parang inis na inis na siya sa akin. Excuse me lang pero sa aming dalawa, ako yata ang mas may karapatang mainis!

I was the abused party!

"Bakit? Kailan pa masamang magtanong? Mamamatay ka ba pag sinagot mo yung tanong ko ha?"

"Hindi. Pero maaaksaya yung oras ko. So ano na ba? Magsisign ka ba sa contract?"

"May contract?"

Inirapan niya ako at umiling siya na para bang ako ang pinaka stupid na taong kilala niya! Nakakairita siya! Ugh!

At dahil masunurin ako, binasa ko na yung contract at baka magalit pa sakin si batang salon. Teka, di ko pa pala natatanong yung pangalan niya.

"Uhm, pedeng magtanong?"

"Nagtatanong ka na nga, e."

Hingang malalim, Dana. Wag mong patulan yan. Gwapo, saying, baka masira mukha. Patiisan kahit masungit.. At ngumiti na lang ako. Ang plastic ko.

"Oo nga, by the way. I'm Dana Ferrer. And you are?"

Inabot ko kamay ko sa kanya para makipag shake hands, dinedma ba naman ako.

"Cyriel."

"Okay, Cyriel. Excuse me for a while, I'll just read the contract."

Then I gave him my sweetest smile. Pero deadma pa din!

I read the contract and it said.

Rules to be followed:

1.   You shall pay the sum amount of P 50,000.00 pesos cold cash, for the kissing program that will last for approximately 6 months.

2.   You and your chosen kissing instructor shall meet at least 4 times a week for your kissing lessons.

3.   In case one or both of you gave in to your sexual urges, no complain or protest will be entertained.

4.   The lessons shall remain private between you and the persons held responsible for this program; in case this program is exposed to public, a fine will be given.

5.   And lastly, falling in love, either mutual or one sided is strictly prohibited and will be resulting to dissolving of this contract no matter what the circumstances are.

Okay.. Binasa ko ulit sa harap niya.

"Anytime, pero di mo sakin ibibigay. Kay Dave."

"Dave?"

"Yeah. He's one of us," sabi niya.

"Ilan ba kayo?"

"Three, ako, si Andy at si Dave."

Ang tipid niyang sumagot.

"2.   You and your chosen kissing instructor shall meet at least 4 times a week for your kissing lessons... Chosen kissing instructor? So pipili ako sa inyong tatlo?"

"Obviously," sabi niya. Bakit ba iritable siya?!

"3.   In case one or both of you gave in to your sexual urges, no complain or protest will be entertained.... What the heck is this?! Don't tell me may nangyayari sa inyo ng mga customers niyo?"

AATAKIHIN AKO SA PUSO SA MGA NABABASA KO!

"Don't ask me okay? I'm not the one who made that stupid contract," sabi niya. IRITABLE NA NAMAN!

Psh. PMS ata to eh.

"4.   The lessons shall remain private between you and the persons held responsible for this program; in case this program is exposed to public, a fine will be given... Paano to? Alam ni Sara yung tungkol dito? Magkano ba ibabayad ko?"

"How many times do I have to tell you that I don't know anything about that?"

"Bakit ka nakasali dito kung wala ka naming alam?!"

Silence. Okay, deadma again.

"5.   And lastly, falling in love, either mutual or one sided is strictly prohibited and will be resulting to dissolving of this contract no matter what the circumstances are... Ahhh. I think okay naman tong contract na to.Malabo namang main love ako sa inyo." Lalo na sayo, ang sungit!!  

"Okay, I'll sign this contract."

Ayun, sign dito, fill-up ng name dun.

Binigay ko sa kanya yung contract tapos inabot niya naman sa akin yung 'biodata nila.'

"Here, when you already picked one, call Andy."

Then tumayo na siya. At may binigay saking envelope. And he's gone.

I opened the envelope. Tinignan ko yung tatlong biodata with pictures na binigay niya sakin And guess what,  WHAT THE HELL!
