Reader Topic Suggestion: A talking tree.
The Traveler's Tree
Hey there, weary traveler,
Won't you take a rest?
My branches offer shade, so take
That burden off your chest.
Whisper to me, traveler,
Your tales of fun or woe.
Use your words to take me
Where my roots won't let me go.
Sing to me, oh traveler,
And I will sing to you.
The wind that dances through my leaves
Will carry a sweet tune.
And when you leave, my traveler,
Your soul I won't forget;
Your heart now beats inside of me
Because our spirits met.
A/N: I meant this to be a funny poem but as I started writing it turned into something else. So um...yeah. :P The characters will sometimes take you in a different direction than you expect. Anyway, I really like this one and I'm thankful for the suggestion!
Like I've said before, leave a suggestion for a topic in the comments and if I use your idea, the chapter will be dedicated to you! ^-^ Thanks for reading!
