Clothe me in earth,
Let me feel its rhythm
Of time gone by,
Time that was mine.
Saturate my soul
With new beginnings
Birthed from a death
That spawns life's breath.
Hold me ever close
When wind's chill whistles
And leaves hit the ground;
A crunching sound.
Warm me with your touch
As clouds cry white drops.
Ice in my hands,
Blanket on the land.
The end is not the end,
We sleep in silence
As we're renewed,
Our burdens removed.
